The book I am blogging is called Hunting the hunter. It is a really good book created by Gordon Korman. The book reminded me of The fugitive Factor because it was created by the same author and had the same characters. One of the problems in the book was that Meg and her brother had to capture their uncle who is a terrorist, so they had to use them self as bait. My favorite character was Meg because she is funny in difficult times and she is awesome. I was really surprised that there uncle hasn't killed them yet.
A part in the book that really disappointed me was that Meg handed herself to the police so easily. When I was reading this book, I felt that Meg and her brother were not going to make it against their ungrateful uncle. A part that I really pictured in my head was when Meg’s brother confronted his uncle in the barn. I really liked the way the author wrote the book because it had a really good setting that I can picture in my mind. I want to read more books by the same author because his storyline is fascinating. I would recommend this book to other readers who like a good mystery and likes nonfiction books. I liked the ending of this book because it was disappointing at first then it got better when it was closer at the end .I hope that everybody likes my blog and I urge you to read this fascinating book.

A really good book series. Can't wait to read the follow-up series called "kidnapped".

I have enjoyed reading this series to my sons, and they have loved every minute of it. This final book in the On the Run series was satisfying. I will continue to seek out books by Gordon Korman for my kids. He's the perfect children's author for our family.

I was really impressed with this series, especially this book which wraps things up in a very exciting way. Yes, it is targeted to a YA audience but it is a very fun, quick read.

As with any series that focuses on a goal, the finale is bound to be different than the other books. And this is no different.

While each book in this series more or less had a "theme" of their own, such as the gang in book 3, the ship and stowing aboard in book 4, they still tended to follow the same formula. But here, that formula is gone. Aiden and Meg know exactly who they're looking for, and who's looking for them. And they intend to set a trap for that person... while he of course plans to do the same to them.

It was inevitable, since with each story, the kids got progressively more and more well-known around the country. Newspapers ran articles on them, TV talked about them, and it got harder and harder for them to get anywhere without being recognized. Eventually, it was either succeed at their goal, die, or get so recognized that there's literally nowhere to hide.

But things get shaken up even more. Meg thinks Aiden's lost his mind when he comes up with his latest plan, so she does something neither of them were considering doing: she turns herself in to the FBI, but doesn't tell them where Aiden is... yet.

The formula's been changed, and now, with Meg, Aiden, and FBI agent Emmanuel Harris each having their own goals - or more accurately, way of going about them - it's chaos. The book ends on a finale I won't get into, other than to say that a lot happens.

Personally, while I was glued to my seat, I didn't care for this book as much due to its shaking up of a formula I was enjoying. Yet I recognize its importance in bringing closure to the series, which it does a great job of. It was a great series, very fun, and it ended with a bang.
