I listened to this series as audiobooks during some road trips. The story was interesting and I wanted to see what would happen in the end. I feel the story stretched the limits of belief at times, but it was entertaining. I found the conclusion somewhat predictable. I listened to it with my family (boys ages 17, 14, and 8) and they all enjoyed it.

I'm in possession of this book purely because I did a charity shop crawl with the specific intention of buying books that were less than 200 pages long. I actually got this one out of the adult section even though it's pretty clear from the English cover that it's a YA book.
What I didn't realise when I bought it was that it was the 6th and last book in the series. I quite enjoyed it regardless though. It had many ridiculous elements to the plot that I think I would have totally gone for when I was a young adult myself and as such I found it charming. I'm going to put the other 5 on the TBR list now and will probably end up reading this book again once I've read the first 5 to see how my perception of it changes in context.
i was really heartbroken that aiden and meg ended up in prison, despite their efforts. but i was so glad that Emmanuel Harris saves the day literally. that ending was something. i totally loved this series. there is not a single dull moment in these books. i am so proud of aiden & meg. who were willing to go through any lengths to prove their parents innocence & clear their family name.
How do you capture someone who wants to kill you? This book is the last book of the On The Run series. Aiden and Meg are fugitives wanted by the FBI, police, basically anyone who wants the reward money, and a bald killer who has been hunting them. They are still on the run searching for the one man who can clear their parents names - Frank Lindenauer. Unfortunately the man they are looking for is also the bald killer, "Hairless Joe" the guy who will stop at nothing to kill them. How can they get their parents names cleared without getting killed first? Exciting book, and great finish. I like how through the whole series they have been escaping by using ideas from Mac Mulvey (their father's fictional book character) and near the end their father says, "But I make all that up! I never meant for anybody to actually do it!"
I found this ENTIRE series (On The Run-6 books/Kidnapped!-3 books) to just be so....great!:) I have literally read all nine books multiple times. Basically, Aiden and Margaret (Meg) Falconer's parents are accused of handing information over to terrorists when their parents actually worked for the CIA. Being wrongly placed in a juvenile facility/farm after their parents are sent to jail, Meg and Aiden feel hopeless. After an accident involving the barn burning down in Nebraska, Aiden and Meg seize the moment and escape. This series tells us the CRAZY seemingly IMPOSSIBLE events that happen leading Aiden and Meg to to one person who can prove their parent's innocence (who went missing before their parents trial.) But could it be that the killer that has been stalking them is the one they are looking for? This series leaves you with a stronger more confident feeling and a feeling of hope for well, nothing in particular. Aiden and Meg continue their journey never giving up, despite being wanted across the entire country for escaping and breaking laws to fend for themselves. They seem to achieve what others find impossible for a 11 year old girl and her teenage brother, or anyone in general. Aiden's never had confidence (much unlike Meg,) is it now that it could arise and perhaps save the entire Falconer family?
