The hunt continues and it is even more complex with the arrival of Misa. Unfortunately, she is not as smart as Naomi, but what she is capable of is a real threat to Light Yagami.

I wasn't particularly fond with what her motives are and how she impacts the bigger chess game between Kira and L, but it does make things so thrilling at times, especially with that ending.

Sort of fearing that one volume where things will definitely be insane, yet still excited to get there.

Yours truly,

This one was so much exciting than those before them. The thing I hated most was Misa...I really can't like her, she acts absolutely stupid... But Rem was good Shinigami))

OK, now I'm just annoyed! I wasn't crazy about the portrayal of women earlier in this series--mainly due to the lack of meaningful women characters. But now that there's an important female character, all she does is squeal and mope about boys and wear short skirts and model. Oh, and get tortured. GRRRRR.

Big turn in the series. This volume was well-crafted. Very unpredictable.

posle I dela, drugi omiljeni deo u serijalu! Dopalo mi se sve, od početka do kraja. Pravim malu pauzu do septembra dok ne nabavim nove delove , ali svakako sam oduševljena! sve preporuke.

I should start by saying that I highly enjoyed this volume. The new characters helped thicken the plot. The dialogue is nicely thought out and there were many times when I was shocked by one of the numerous plot twists. I adore how it makes the reader think that either Light or 'L' has the upper hand just for the other one to show the cards he had been hiding up his sleeve. If I had to be picky, I would say that I didn't approve of the way women were depicted. The only significant female character was Misa and let's just say that she's not the brightest.

Both Light Yagami (Kira) and Super Sleuth L are hot on the trail of the newest twist in this story - Light recognizes the work of another DeathNote in play, but L can't decide if it's a second Kira or just a copycat killer.

You know, if you'd told me this would be another volume of intrigue and a continuation of the battle of wits between L and Light and our third player, I likely would have sighed and prepared to be tired of it. n  It was so good though!n Light and L continue their race to discover each other's secrets, Light discovers who Kira 2 is and incorrectly assumes this Kira isn't too smart - I just absolutely love all of the intrigue and machinations of these characters.

I appreciated the humor of Light having a devoted admirer to deal with (be annoyed by is more accurate) and this one also got me in the feels just a smidge as I got more insight into the Shinigami and uses of the DeathNote.

Safe to say I'm a huge fan of the series and eager to see what Volume 5 holds!
