I thought the manga was amazing. The manga is like the anime. but the manga has more to it. It's the type of manga I would want to read again.

This series is just so amazing

Definitely an exciting and action packed arc. Love the world building of the Soul Society and the newly ( yeah) introduced characters (and this part started my excitement to the whole new level for the future chapters

This is my 2nd read of this volume, I last read it before Goodreads (at least before I joined).

Uryu gets all powered up to finish off the Captain of R&D which considering things later is kind of a big deal. The story kind of hops around a lot between different characters it is a bit confusing even on the 2nd read. Ichigo trains again. Yoruichi (for those of you keeping count) gets naked in from of Ichigo again for "fanservice" I guess but unlike many Manga stories at least she is not 14 or 16. She is 1,000s of years old or so.

Anyway, despite all this craziness the plot advances. Good stuff.

The plot thickens as the mystery behind the murder within the Soul Society gets more complicated every second. The story arc also explores several new flashback sequences, presents brand-new reunions, and teases more training progression for Ichigo.

After all the epic battles, volumes like these are what's needed to recuperate both for the reader and for the characters!
