Uryū’s fight against the 12th Captain was amazing! I loved getting more of a glimpse into his childhood training as a Quincy, and can confidently say he’s one of my favourite characters in Bleach. Plus, mr. silly himself (Ganju) is okay!! I can live in peace.

Quincy time motherfucker!

This is pretty badass to watch the quincy fight with him super overpowered. This volume starts with a bang and it's a fantastic one sided fight that never lets up. Second half is more of Ichigo training. That's okay, not the best, but it's still solid. On top of that we get some funny moments with our favorite cat lady. Oh and it sets up two soul reapers about to go head to head, setting up the next volume nicely. A 3.5 out of 5.

The Quincy finishes his battle with the captain he is facing. Ichigo starts to train to find a way to release his Ban Kai. Someone is accused of being Aizens killer. Pretty good more training sequences than anything but all in all a good volume.

Really loved it! The fights and the past stories of some characters were really captivating. It goes a little bit down with Ichigo’s training… Really appreciated chapter -17 giving a little bit of past story about some of the soul reapers!

Bleach, Vol. 15 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next seven chapters (124–130) of the on-going manga series and the bonus story "Prelude for the Straying Stars".

Uryū Ishida uses the forbidden Quincy technique Ransōtengai to overcome the effects Mayuri Kurotsuchi's zanpakutō and defeats him, receiving the antidote of his opponent's poison from Mayuri's lieutenant Nemu Kurotsuchi. However, Uryū is quickly defeated by Squad Nine Captain Kaname Tōsen and incarcerated.

Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki faces a life and death training regiment against Zangetsu to obtain the ability to use Bankai, Kenpachi Zaraki helps Orihime Inoue free her friends so he can find Ichigo and fight him again.

At the same time, having got her hands on Sōsuke Aizen's letter, Momo Hinamori escapes confinement and makes her way to where Tōshirō Hitsugaya confronts Gin Ichimaru over Aizen's murder after he releases Izuru Kira. Once there, Momo points her zanpakutō at Hitsugaya and accuses him of killing Aizen.

This tankobon is written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. The incursion into the Seireitei to save Rukia Kuchiki continues. It is split up into three narratives: the first where Uryū Ishida battles the Soul Reapers, but ultimately ends incarcerated. Another has Kenpachi Zaraki helping Orihime Inoue save her friends and find Ichigo Kurosaki, so he could fight him again. Finally, Ichigo continues his dangerous training in order for him to use his Bankai.

All in all, Bleach, Vol. 15 is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems intriguing and I cannot wait to read more.

VOLUME 15: CHAPTER 124-130
Arc 3: Soul Society: The Rescue

4.5 stars. Loved the backstory to some of rukias classmates. Cool to see some lore. I hate how some people are being played. I don’t trust ichimaru one bit. I also don’t trust aizen knowing he was ichimarus captain. Who knows what he taught him. They are both snakes. Cool to see Quincy win sad to see him lose his powers but wow what power he had. Wish that 12th captain died and didn’t just run away. I like seeing ichigo train and get stronger. Cat CB lady is funny. Cool to see some backstory between her and clogs and hat guy. Hope to see more of there past. How did he leave and why aren’t people fans.
I like the little story’s at the beginning of the chapter involving what’s happening on earth.
Ready for the next volume

It has been a while since I originally read the manga and I totally forgot what happens at the end of this volume so I gasped out loud... OUT LOUD, LIKE A LOSER!
I'm too emotionally involved with these characters, someone save me!

I didn't write this review right after reading, so my memory is a touch hazy--which is a shame because the 15th v. of Bleach is pretty damned satisfying. Granted, I think I have all of the prior Bleach volumes rated at 4 stars (with maybe one or two exceptions), so it's not like v.15 reinvents the wheel or anything. But it opens with a nice battle, has some good Ichigo training, and dives deeper into the chaos that Soul Society got thrown into when Captain Aizen was murdered. The latter stuff, especially, makes for fun reading--partly because I'm so in love with a lot of the Soul Society characters, and partly because there is intellectual meat to the mystery that Ichigo's single-minded attempts to rescue Rukia can't touch.

Of course, at this point it seems like the reviewing is a formality more than anything; by this point in the series readers know what they're getting. You're either going to continue reading, or you're going to drop. As for me, I'll continue reading.
