I love rereading this series. So incredibly immersive. This time I'm playing wizards unite and I noticed all the details that I have read over in the past. Potion ingredients, the names of games they play Gobstone set, names of the creatures. The game makers drew out lots of the details. It was fun to play and read.

Check out my reviews on the main page of each individual book! Always will be one of the greatest series of all time. :)

I have read all the books. What always fun about this was that after I read each book I went into the movie so I can spot the differences.

Fic: Rose and Sword by SanaNGU

—————————

3226 pages

(806,901 words)

—————————

The one stat takes place in 7th year (six year never happened like it did in the books). Draco wreaks havoc in Ancient runes.

—————————

I loved part one of the story (rose) but part 2 (sword) brought down the rating for me a lot. It got better at the verryyyy end tho)

I really enjoyed Harry Potter. There was so much more to it than a story. It was a whole world full of facts and fiction of magic. I am amazed how Joanne Rowling managed to write such a fantastic series that all ages enjoy.

i love all of these books, my favorite is #4. i love the character development in each book, especially how rowling pin points the emotions of a child moving from childhood into their teenage years. i first read them because my students LOVED them and i wanted to use the literature in my teaching, but now i'm on my second time throught the series. i love them more this time around than the first.

I remained skeptical & snobbish about this series for quite awhile, until my son wanted me to read the first book to him. It hooked me, & I am now quite sad that the series is done. But I'm glad the author went out on a high note. Highlights: The Sorcerer's Stone, The Prisoner of Azkaban, & the Deathly Hallows were the best; 5 stars for those. I probably enjoyed the Order of the Phoenix the least. All, by the way, far outstrip their respective movies, but I must admit that when I read the books I see the characters as they appear in the flicks.
