This book was incredibly painful for me to read. It's well written and really spells everything out. It would be great for someone just getting into web design or getting into Web project management, but for someone who's done multiple Web redesigns and has a career in the field, it was just TEDIOUS. I did learn a few terms, so I'm glad I made it through, it just took me over a year to read 160 pages.

This book presents clearly the principles of User Experience which is always green. It creates a good basement for your knowledge in this field.
A really good book. I recommend it!

Great intro to UX book, or for anyone who wants a simple refresher. The examples are a bit outdated by now, but I still found the takeaways and explanations clear and concise. Illuminating honestly!

This book is informative and well written.
So far it gets a bit boring, contrary to "Don't make me think" or "Design of everyday things", other musts to UX-UI learning. Anyway, I appreciate it's easy to grasp structure and clear style, without the "buzzwords" that abound in the field.
I will recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about user interfaces or web design.

This is the second time, I have read this one; the last time was at least over a decade ago. This time, my interests, are different. There are a lot of references, I need to explore. Recommended still.

The conceptual model of the five elements is useful to understand how the different disciplines and tools for delivering user experiences fit together, but that was really summed up in a single diagram. Otherwise, it didn’t really bring anything new to the table, and in fact seems quite dated now.

Um pequeno grande guia. Serve até para quem não é Designer para entender melhor a área de UX.

This book is one of the best a beginner can read and I would even recommend it to project/product managers or anyone who doesn't yet see the value of design. A very light read with notions easy to comprehend.

I believe it will get outdated soon since the process and the way people are thinking about design is changing fast, but it should be good for another 2-3 years.

If you could marry a professional book, this would be at the top of my list.
