I originally read this for my apprentices and I was truly amazed to find myself completely hooked!Oberon Zell-Ravenheart is like a modern-day Merlin. However, I must admit that I found some of his perspectives to be outright false. For example, when he described "The Big Bang" as a "creationist theory" and believed that it postulated the universe came from one giant explosion, I couldn't help but cringe. But then again, it's forgivable as a pen can easily cross out that silly little excerpt. =)Putting aside that and some of the 2012 b.s., this book is truly a phenomenon. It is a PHENOMENAL book that excels in its coverage of Magik. It is filled to the brim with various projects and practices. There are great exercises for just about every aspect of Magik. And we all know that in the world of Magik, exercises are far more important than philosophies. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in Magik.
