The shipping in 3.5 was intense.

However, I felt that at a certain point, it became rather predictable and a bit meh regarding the problems that the protagonists were going to have to face.

In this volume, I didn't like their attitudes as much, especially towards the end.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the reading and it was read extremely quickly.

The story had its moments of excitement and drama, but the predictability did take away some of the shine.

Despite that, the author's writing style was engaging enough to keep me turning the pages.

I'm curious to see how the story will develop in the next volume and if the author will be able to bring back the element of surprise.

I have re-read this series from my teenage years to adulthood. Looking back, it might not have been the best decision.

This could potentially be my third time reading this series. I'm quite certain that I read it twice during the first two years of its release. Back then, I was young, and I adored it. It seemed so romantic. However, after reading it this year, perhaps over 15 years later, I realized I was mistaken. I could only see a series of wrong turns within wrong turns. Maybe as an adult, our perspectives change, and we view things differently.

If you've read a manga or a book during your early years and then re-read it much later in life, you might end up like me - having loved a series in the past only to have the adult in you scoff at your once-enjoyment.

Do I recommend this?

This is truly a cause for celebration. Yay!! However, I can't help but have a feeling that at some point in the future, the situation might change and she could end up going back. But for now, I choose to focus on the present and be happy that they can finally be together. Their relationship has overcome many obstacles, and this moment of togetherness is precious. I hope they can cherish this time and create many beautiful memories.

Maybe there will be challenges ahead, but as long as they have each other, they can face anything. I look forward to seeing how their relationship evolves and grows in the days to come.

The pages depicting their lovemaking were equally beautiful. Especially, the flowers drawn in the corners added a really delicate touch. This detail kind of aptly describes their first time (or perhaps I should say many times? Four days without leaving the room, hmm...lol).

Moreover, for once, Yuri is the one who appears at the opportune moment to save Kail, rather than the other way around as we have witnessed thus far, even if she is not directly rescuing him. It would be truly great to encounter more such situations in the future volumes.

This volume has not only deepened the relationship between Yuri and Kail but also added new dimensions to the story, making it all the more captivating and engaging.

I came across this series completely by chance. It was a mere coincidence that led me to discover it. However, from the moment I started reading, I was hooked.

E finalmente Yuri e Kail consumano. In the heat of the moment, he completely forgets about his wound. And for four days, no one sees them. It reminds me of the ending of "Il bisbetico domato" with Adriano Celentano and Ornella Muti.

But then the problems begin. On one hand, Kail has told everyone except Yuri that he intends to make her his wife. On the other hand, Nakia has prepared seven princesses at the palace whom she wants to marry off to Kail, along with a bunch of girls ready to be his concubines. And they are all of high rank, treating the poor Yuri like the daughter of a servant.

From the perspective of the plot, how will Shinohara carry on the story for another 14 volumes now? Especially since one of the main themes, namely the relationship between Kail and Yuri, has finally been resolved? Will there be a child in the following volumes? More betrayals or deaths of secondary characters?!

We'll see.
