Well, okay. Technically, I could have read it in one day, but I didn't want to finish it so quickly.

If you know me, you know that I'm not really into manga, comics, graphic novels, etc. Although I appreciate the art, I have trouble connecting with the characters in such books. In this particular case, since I've already watched the entire Bleach anime, it was obviously much easier for me. I finished it two weeks ago and I've really missed it, so it felt nice to re-enter the world of Bleach from the perspective of the manga.

What really impressed me, of course, is how everything happened much faster in the manga than in the anime. At least that's how I remember it.

Of course, I recommend it!

I firmly believe, without the fear of being contradicted, that I have just read one of the most important volumes of Bleach.

I would have enjoyed it ninety times more if only I hadn't spoiled it for myself like an idiot years ago. However, it was still an exciting read with not one but two major plot twists. Aizen has been plotting against the Soul Society to rise to the heavens as a sort of supreme deity, and it is revealed that hidden within Rukia (by Kisuke Urahara) is the Hogyoku, the gem of destruction, which is capable of erasing in one blow the line of demarcation between Shinigami and Hollow.

I will continue to read this shonen with a straight sword, as it is one of the most beautiful ones I have ever read.

I was truly surprised that neither Ichigo nor Renji could manage to save Rukia properly. It was quite a disappointment to see them struggle and yet not be able to achieve the desired outcome.

However, in the end, it was Inii-sama who came to the rescue and did it successfully. Lol! I really wasn't expecting that at all. It was a pleasant surprise to see him step in and save the day.

Moreover, I had initially thought that Rukia's brother was the bad one. But as it turns out, that wasn't the case. There were clearly more complex dynamics at play within the story.

This whole turn of events has left me even more intrigued and eager to see what will happen next in the story. I can't wait to find out how the characters will develop and what new challenges they will face.

I truly wish that I had the financial means to possess all of these wonderful works in paperback. Currently, Volume 1 is sitting there all by itself, looking rather lonely on my bookcase. For the rest of the volumes, I have unfortunately had to resort to reading them on my iPad. However, let me tell you, it has been an absolutely awesome experience.

I never in a million years would have thought that I would develop an interest in comics or manga. But here I am, at the age of 34, and I find myself immensely enjoying these captivating stories and illustrations. It's like a whole new world has opened up to me, filled with excitement, adventure, and unique characters.

The artistry and creativity that go into these comics and manga are simply remarkable. Each page is a work of art, drawing me in and making me eager to turn the next. Whether it's the detailed illustrations, the engaging storylines, or the well-developed characters, there is something truly special about this medium.

I can't wait to continue exploring this world of comics and manga and adding more volumes to my collection. Maybe one day, I'll be able to afford to have them all in paperback, sitting proudly on my bookcase, waiting to be discovered and enjoyed again and again.

Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki is a unique individual who has the remarkable ability to see ghosts.

The story commences on the day when he encounters Rukia Kuchiki, one of the members of the Soul Society. The members of this society are known as shinigamis.

The shinigamis have a crucial duty, which is to engage in combat with Hollows - the malevolent spirits that originate from humans who exhibit psychic energy.

After Ichigo discovers the truth that the world in which he lives with his family is充斥着 dangerous spirits, he decides to learn how to become a Shinigami. Now, his task, along with Rukia, is to safeguard the world from Hollows and assist the spirits in finding peace.

Thank you Netgalley and Viz media for providing me with an ARC ebook of this manga.

This is my honest opinion.

As a die-hard fan of Bleach, I was overjoyed to hear about the release of the 20th anniversary edition of volume 1. However, upon reading it, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of disappointment. All they've done is slap a fantastic new cover on the manga, and there's nothing else. To make matters worse, there aren't even any colour pages inside.

Story-wise, this is an excellent start to an amazing and sometimes complex narrative. It's about a boy named Ichigo who can see ghosts and stumbles upon the world of Soul Reapers (shikigami's) when he meets Rukia. After taking all of her powers, Ichigo embarks on a journey to protect his family and friends from the evil Hollows.

This is your typical shonen manga, complete with flashy fight scenes and a nonchalant protagonist who grows stronger with each battle.

In volume one, we are introduced to Ichigo, his family, and friends. If you're new to the manga, it's a great introduction to the world of Bleach. The story progresses at a brisk pace without overwhelming you with terminology and world-building.

Ichigo, Rukia, Chad, and Orihime are all likeable characters, and each one adds something unique to the story in this first volume. It's a highly recommended series that offers a perfect balance of humour and action. I'm a huge fan of Tite Kubo's artwork, and it only gets better with every volume.

I'm giving this 20th anniversary edition 4 stars because it lacks any additional content. It would have been nice to see some bonus material or extras to commemorate such a significant milestone.

No one ever stood atop the Heavens before.

Not you, or I, or the Gods.

But the unbearable vacancy of Heaven's throne ends now.

From now on...I will stand on top.

Well damn.

Ok.

Shit.

That's some big bad evil energy speech if I ever saw one.

He really popped off.

It's a great way to end the Rukia Rescue arc (season 2 basically).

I'm very excited for the Hueco Mundo arc.

The fights are only gonna get crazier from here.

I can't wait to see what kind of intense battles and new powers will be revealed in the upcoming arc.

The story has been building up so well, and I'm sure the Hueco Mundo arc will not disappoint.

It's going to be an action-packed and thrilling ride.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the characters will grow and develop in this new and dangerous environment.

Overall, I'm really hyped for what's to come in the Bleach series.

I truly believe that the end of this arc was completely insane!!!! It was insane to the extreme, frrrrr.

The events that unfolded were so unexpected and mind-boggling. It felt like the story had taken a wild turn that no one could have predicted. The intensity and drama were off the charts.

Every moment leading up to the end was filled with anticipation and excitement. And when it finally arrived, it blew my mind. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

This arc has definitely been one of the most memorable and thrilling parts of the story so far. I can't wait to see what the future holds and how the story will continue to develop.

This was just shocking.

When I witnessed this moment in the anime, I was completely astounded. However, the panels of the manga manage to make those moments even more impactful. I truly loved the way the plot twist was presented and how the characters behaved and figured out certain things.

Yet, as I have watched OTB cor 2, I couldn't help but have the impression that the Captain seemed more impressed by Aizen rather than experiencing shock or horror at her lieutenant.

It makes one wonder about the complex relationships and emotions at play within the story.

Perhaps there is more to the Captain's reaction than meets the eye, and it adds an interesting layer to the overall narrative.

This kind of ambiguity and depth in the characters and their actions is what makes the series so engaging and captivating.

It keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating what will happen next and how the story will unfold.

Overall, it's a fascinating aspect of the anime and manga that continues to draw me in and make me want to explore more.
