How can you end it like that???!!

This question lingers in my mind, leaving me with a sense of dissatisfaction and confusion.

The way it ended seemed so abrupt and incomplete.

There were so many loose ends that needed to be tied up.

I was expecting a more conclusive and satisfying resolution.

It felt as if the story was cut short just when it was getting interesting.

Maybe there was a reason for this ending, but it's hard for me to see it at the moment.

I keep wondering what could have been done differently to make the ending more impactful and fulfilling.

It makes me question the whole narrative and whether the author achieved their intended goal.

Despite my disappointment, I still find myself thinking about it, which shows that there was something about the story that initially captured my attention.

I hope that in the future, I will come across stories with endings that leave me feeling truly satisfied and content.

This arc is definitely an exciting and action-packed one.

\\tThe world building of the Soul Society is truly remarkable. It creates a vivid and immersive environment that draws the readers in.

\\tThe newly introduced characters also add a fresh and exciting element to the story. Each character has their own unique personality and abilities, which makes for some interesting interactions and developments.

\\tThis part in particular has started my excitement for the future chapters to a whole new level. I seriously love Ichigo in these volumes. His growth and development as a character are truly inspiring.

\\tOverall, this arc is a great addition to the series and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Manga, especially Shonen, is often divided into larger arcs rather than volumes. I will analyze and review "Bleach" by arc. I reread this manga over 2 months, sometimes reading 100 chapters a day. Reviewing each 7 - 8 chapter volume would be tedious. So, this format will be used for all 72 volumes.

Spoiler warning: I don't recap everything but will mention events. If you're wondering if you should pick this up, the answer is yes, even if you stop at the end of the Soul Society Arc.

Karakura Town Arc - Chapters 1 - 56 - Rating: 7/10
It's a fun introduction with an interesting premise about ghosts and demons (Hollows). It does well in introducing characters, like Chad, Orihime, and Uryu, although they lose spotlight later. It has a bit of a "monster of the week" feel. Some stories work, like Chad's introduction, but others, like Don Kanonji, feel superficial.

Soul Society Arc - Chapters 57 - 182 - Rating: 10/10
This is the height of "Bleach". It seemingly establishes an afterlife perfectly, with top-tier fights. The themes of Ichigo's life debt to Rukia and his determination are inspiring. The twist near the end is revolutionary and sets up the next arc. However, Ichigo's lightning speed progression feels unearned, and there are a lot of characters introduced, which can be overwhelming.

Hueco Mundo Arc - Chapters 183 - 423 - Rating 7/10
I'd split this into two arcs. The first half (9/10) is a great continuation. Ichigo struggles with inner demons, and we meet new villains, the Arrancars/Espada. The fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow is my favorite. But the second half (5/10) takes a dip in quality. It becomes a fighter fest with no clear themes or character revelations. The Espadas' fights lose their compelling nature.

The Fullbring Arc - Chapters 424 - 479 - Rating: 8/10
This is an underrated arc. It's concise and focuses on characters. Ichigo seems more human, and the twist is foreshadowed. However, the end is rushed, and the soul reapers' appearance feels forced and fanservicey.

The Thousand Year Blood War Arc - Chapters 424 - 689 - Rating: 5/10
The final and largest arc has some phenomenal moments, like character power-ups. But it's also the most rushed arc I've read. Kubo introduced 26 new villains, but most got little screen time. Yhwach was a great villain but was dealt with poorly. The finale felt underwhelming, and Ichigo didn't defeat anyone but the main villain.

Overall, "Bleach" has a rating of 7.4/10. It has its ups and downs, with peak shonen moments and forgettable lows.
