There is so much intense fighting going on between the members of the soul society! We have Byakuya taking on Renji, and Kenpachi facing off against Tôsen! Both of these battles had my complete and unwavering attention. It was truly captivating to watch.

I really, truly hate Ichimaru. His actions and character just rub me the wrong way. Anyways, I have to give a shout-out to Tite Kubo. It's really great that he includes black people in his manga and gives them accurate facial features and hair, just like everyone else. This is actually quite rare in the world of manga, and it's something that I really appreciate.

Also, did I mention that I hate Ichimaru? He just gets on my nerves with his sly and conniving ways. I can't wait to see how his story develops and if he'll ever get what's coming to him.

After a slight decline in volume 16, Bleach volume 17 makes a comeback with a diverse and action-packed installment that focuses on many crucial characters. There is a significant amount of intense battling, with relatively less emphasis on dialogue. Ichigo is still away training (it's been quite a while since he started his Bankai training. It feels like an eternity, but perhaps that's just because I haven't been reading the volumes in a timely manner). However, we are treated to an excellent fight between Kenpachi and another Soul Society captain, as well as Renji going head-to-head with Byakuya.

As any astute Bleach fan will notice, the latter fight is a classic example of a captain (Byakuya) confronting his vice-captain. Renji's main objective is to save Rukia (after all, that's still the reason we are in Soul Society). On the other hand, Byakuya, who is Rukia's brother, wants to prevent him from doing so. Why? We could argue that he doesn't really care (which might be true to some extent), or that he places a higher value on law and order than on family ties (which is also likely). Or perhaps it's simply because he adheres to an authoritarian mindset where following given orders is of utmost importance, regardless of what is right or just (again, probably true). In any case, Renji's goal as a young and ambitious upstart does not align with Byakuya's worldview and must therefore be stopped.

All in all, it's an exciting volume, even if, like me, you have a bit of a dislike for Renji. The action and the complex relationships between the characters make it a captivating read.

Rukia's assistant captain's death at her hands was truly a heart-wrenching moment. It brought a sense of sadness and loss that was palpable.

However, on the other hand, the fighting sequences and the use of bankai in this volume were simply awesome. The intensity and power displayed were truly remarkable.

The way the characters engaged in battle, unleashing their bankai abilities with such force and precision, was a sight to behold. It added a new level of excitement and drama to the story.

Despite the sadness of the assistant captain's death, the精彩的 fighting sequences and the use of bankai made this volume a memorable one. It left readers on the edge of their seats, eager to see what would happen next.

These Captains are insanely strong.

Byakuya and Zaraki, in particular, seem to be in a whole other league when compared to some of the others. Their power and skills are truly awe-inspiring.

That's why I have so much respect for how hard Renji is fighting to save Rukia. He is determined and refuses to give up, even in the face of such强大的 opponents.

I'm honestly on the edge of my seat, eagerly waiting to see what some of the other Captains are capable of. And not just the Captains, but also the ones in ranks below them. There's so much potential for exciting battles and displays of power.

Where are you, Ichigo?!!!!! We need you to show up and join this fight. Your presence could tip the scales and change the outcome of this intense conflict.

I can't wait to see what unfolds next in this amazing story.

bellissimo nonostante il finale più cliffhanger del mondo, li mortacci de tite kubo, ma va bene lo stesso perché c'è tantissimo kenpachi in questo volume quindi non scapoccio troppo.

It is truly beautiful despite having the most cliffhanger ending in the world. Damn you, Tite Kubo! But it's okay anyway because there is so much Kenpachi in this volume, so I'm not too disappointed.

Damn, they're so dramatic for one girl's death. Like, guys, it's just one girl. There are so many other things going on in the world.

Also, I miss Kisuke Urahara. Where is he? He was such a cool character. I really hope he shows up again soon.

I mean, come on. The way they're acting is just over the top. It's not like her death is the end of the world.

And as for Kisuke, he always had these great one-liners and a mysterious air about him. I really want to know what he's been up to.

Maybe he's off on some secret mission or something. I don't know. But I sure hope he comes back and shakes things up again.

4/5: There are multiple parties engaged in different activities and I truly love it.

It's quite astonishing how the shinigami society seems to be extremely flawed. They act as if they are all high and mighty, looking down on others.

And that furry captain, what on earth is that about? It just adds another layer of strangeness to the whole scenario.

One wonders how such a society functions with all these oddities and flaws. Maybe there is more to it than meets the eye, but from the surface, it appears to be a rather complex and somewhat dysfunctional place.

Nevertheless, the diversity of characters and their actions make it all the more interesting and captivating to observe.
