Doumyouji and the girl are having a heated argument.
Doumyouji asks the girl what she doesn't like about him, boasting that there is no one as perfect as him in the world.
The girl responds by saying she hates his stupidity, his strange hair, his wearing of street clothes on campus, his arrogance, his snake-like eyes, and absolutely everything about him.
It's so interesting to see how their relationship is developing. Doumyouji seems to be falling in love with the girl unconsciously. He even irons his hair and does everything to bother her. I love that boy so much. Although Riu is also a cute and serious guy, it's a dilemma for me.
I like the girl because she looks weak but is actually very strong. And Doumyouji's jealous and naughty attitude just kills me. I also like Riu, who is so serious and reserved. In conclusion, I like all the F4 members.
Reading this after getting into Homestuck is an absolute blast. You simply wouldn't believe how perfectly these kids' relationships fit into the quadrants.
For instance, it's clear that Tsukasa started off in a pitch relationship with Tsukishi, and this is his horribly messed-up way of attempting to land a kismesis.
The manga also showcases his struggles with quadrant blurring as he flips red occasionally but mostly remains black.
Tsukishi, on the other hand, is not at all torn. She definitely hates him but would also be extremely happy to get an auspictice and be rid of him for good.
Especially since due to his ineptitude, she's in a black spiral with her entire school.
Meanwhile, Shizuka and Rui are moirails, but everyone knows that Rui is actually flushed for her.
Tough luck, Rui! Shizuka is all about keeping it pale.
Rui and Tsukishi's situation is a bit strange, but I'm tentatively labeling it as Rui being ashen for her while she has a flush crush on him. I'm less confident in this than the others, though.
Mostly, I'm super proud of myself for making the Domyoji/Tsukishi black romance connection. That was a moment of pure genius on my part.
Since this volume provided me with a wealth of material to enjoy playing the quadrant game with, I shall award it 3 stars.
Ok, this manga is truly ridiculous and highly dramatic. It has so many aspects that are really quite problematic. The storylines seem to go to extreme lengths just for the sake of creating shock value. The characters' actions and decisions often lack any real logic or common sense. However, despite all these flaws, I simply can't stop reading it. I'm sorry! I find myself drawn in by the very absurdity and drama that make it so problematic. Maybe it's the guilty pleasure of seeing how far the story can go or how outrageously the characters will behave. Whatever the reason, I'm hooked and can't seem to put it down.
