I absolutely loved it.

However, I couldn't help but wish that the leader of the F4 could be a little less of an arrogant dick. To be honest, there were moments when I really wanted to punch his face.

But I guess that's just his character, and it's what makes the story interesting.

Apparently, there are like a whole bunch of dramas based on this as well.

OMG, the F4 are just so freaking hot.

I loved it so much.

I loved every single moment of it.

Their charm and charisma just draw you in and make you unable to look away.

It's one of those shows that you can't help but get addicted to.

Even though the leader's character may be a bit annoying at times, the overall story and the other characters make up for it.

I can't wait to see what else is in store for the F4 and their fans.

Currently, I am reading volume 24, and then the story seems to have taken an unexpected turn. Meh. I really don't understand why every guy has to fall for her. The side stories are becoming repetitive and rather annoying. I still have a soft spot for Tsukasa, but only when he's not hitting girls. Makino, on the other hand, can be quite annoying at times. At least they seem to be sort of on the same page now. I'm really hoping for some forward movement in their relationship without all the unnecessary drama.

1/22/5 - I had initially started volume 15. Please, someone get rid of the obtuse Makino. I love Tsukasa, but he seriously needs to control his tongue and that violent streak of his.

Previously, I was reading volume 10. Honestly, I've liked every version of the drama I've seen so far, but this series just isn't that great. I really don't get all the hype surrounding it. Still, I have quite a ways to go, so I'll continue reading and see if it gets any better.

Okay, Let me get something straight.

First of all, I got addicted to anime and manga and all that big-eyed, purple-headed stuff when I was in seventh grade. At that time, I wasn't as level-headed as I am now. After all, I was only twelve when I first read this series. So, of course, I fell in love with Tsukushi and Domyouji's epic love story, which was as epic as it could be for a twelve-year-old. Give me a break. Every twelve-year-old practically loves cheesy, funny, and romantic stuff, right? Especially if it's an animated one.

So that was, like, 3 years ago. A lot of things have changed. Looking back, I was so smitten by all those Meg Cabot books that lined almost half of the bookshelves of our school library. But now, I have no idea what I saw in Meg Cabot's stories to love them so much. I mean, I can't even stand reading "Princess Diaries" (I stopped halfway when I was in 8th grade) without gagging. Seriously. That's me reading in the present. In the past, I was in love with it. My future self convinced me and helped me see the truth. Thank you very much.

SO, logically, that's what happened to this book. My twelve-year-old self clicked the 5-star review for me, not my present 15-year-old self. I don't know why I love this "Hana Yori Dango" stuff so much. My pen name is even the lead character. Why? I don't know. I JUST LOVE IT. But the difference with Cabot's is that I'm still in love with HYD, while I'm not into Cabot anymore. I've moved on to new adult genres that are still cheesy (so what? I love cheesy stuff) but mature enough to not be like Cabot's, since I can't even stand reading her books without blinding my eyes.

I Loooove HANA YORI DANGO. It might be cheesy and sooo cliched and whatsoever, but obviously, my twelve-year-old self is still lurking behind my veins. I didn't like the anime much. I mean, the manga's drawing might not be that great, but they didn't even do justice to the anime. They somehow made it worse. But I love the Japanese and Korean live dramas.

This is one of my favourite manga/anime/drama.

I love it in every version. It's an old manga, which has a long history and a large number of fans.

Over the years, it has been adapted into different forms such as anime and drama.

Although some distributing topics have been changed in the adaptations to meet the needs of different audiences and the characteristics of different media, I really enjoy it.

The story is full of excitement and adventure, and the characters are vivid and charming.

Each version has its own unique charm, which makes me love it even more.

Whether it's reading the manga, watching the anime or the drama, I can always immerse myself in the wonderful world created by this work and feel the joy and excitement it brings.

In short, this is a work that I will always love and recommend to others.

I read "Boys Over Flowers" by Yoko Kamei.

It is truly unnecessary to elaborate on the story of this manga as it is one of the most renowned Shoujo manga. With a huge circulation, it is definitely a mainstream work. The story follows a romantic comedy archetype and is somewhat like a taming of the beast. I firmly believe that the themes of the story are love, family, and friendship.

There are a plethora of panel types, which makes this manga extremely worth reading. Moreover, the author, Yoko Kamei, employs different perspectives. Usually, the eye level view is the most commonly used in manga illustrations, but she utilizes various types of perspectives such as the worm's eye view and the bird's eye view depending on the situation and the psychological description. These perspectives are highly beneficial for me to immerse myself in the world of this manga.

Overall, "Boys Over Flowers" is a captivating manga that combines an engaging story with excellent artistic techniques.

I'm not entirely certain about my thoughts at the moment, aside from the fact that this has not aged well.

It's quite astonishing how something that might have seemed relevant or even good at one point can now appear so outdated and perhaps even a bit flawed.

Maybe it's due to the passage of time and the changing perspectives and values that come with it.

Or perhaps it was never truly as great as it was initially made out to be, and the flaws were just overlooked.

Whatever the case may be, it's a reminder that things don't always stay the same and that our opinions and evaluations can change over time.

It makes me wonder what other things in my life or in the world around me will also not age well and how my perception of them will change in the future.

I have read chapters 1 - 3 of this story.

The description of bullying and the attempted sexual assault presented a rather harsh and disturbing beginning to the series.

The main character, however, is indeed a likable and resilient individual. Despite facing such difficult circumstances, she shows great strength and determination.

Nevertheless, although the character is engaging, I find that my interest in high school stories is not sufficient to prompt me to continue reading this particular one.

Perhaps it is because I have a preference for other genres or because the high school setting does not hold as much appeal for me.

Nonetheless, I can appreciate the efforts put into creating the main character and the storyline thus far.

It's just that for now, I will likely explore other literary works that better align with my personal interests.

"Tsukushi" means weed. It is a plant that, when stepped on or kicked, still has the ability to spring back. It is incredibly strong. This is precisely the personality of Tsukushi Makino, a middle-class student attending the expensive private school, Eitoku Academy. She is completely different from those pampered plants that can only thrive in greenhouses, such as the Flowery Foursome (F4). The F4 are the wealthiest and most powerful individuals in the academy. No one dares to mess with them - until they encounter Tsukushi.

I really appreciate how the mangaka was playful with the layouts and scenes. The art style clearly reflects the era in which it was created. Published in the 90s, it has an old-school charm that is both pleasant and nostalgic.
Some years ago, the Taiwanese TV drama "Meteor Garden" became a huge hit in the Philippines.随后, the Japanese live-action version and the Korean version also followed suit. All of these adaptations were based on this very manga.

P.S. I bet those people who rated this as 1 star were those who really don't read a lot of mangas lol /justsaying

Instant favorite!

I simply cannot wait to read more of this story. It is truly hilarious and outrageously entertaining.

I absolutely love how crazy our main character is. She has this wild notion that one of the flower boys is different, and the only reason she thinks so is because he can play the violin and he stopped a group from attacking her. But let's be honest, I'm pretty sure he's not as different as she believes.

However, it's important to note that there are a lot of red flags in here for the more sensitive reader. This story contains elements that might not be suitable for younger audiences. It is best suited to older teens and adults who can handle the more complex and perhaps a bit edgier themes presented.

Overall, despite the potential red flags, this story has really captured my attention and I'm eager to see where it goes next.

A quite unexpected trip it was. At first, I thought it was merely going to be a silly ride. However, to my great surprise, it presented a coming-of-age story in a highly realistic way. The characters in it were so vivid and relatable. There were those who were obsessive, always fixating on certain things. Then there were the shy ones, lacking in confidence and often shrinking back. And there were also the naive ones, innocent and inexperienced, just like many of us in real life. This trip truly opened my eyes and made me realize that life is full of unexpected surprises and that we can find valuable lessons and experiences in the most ordinary of situations.

As an individual who has a great affection for the k-drama and j-drama adaptations of this manga series, I must express that I still perceive the treatment of the heroine, Tsukasa, as truly HORRIBLE. I suppose that for the 90's, this manga achieved success to some extent because the heroine does assert herself on occasion. However, I am not fond of the manner in which the author depicts the romance within this series. It is extremely toxic and conveys the incorrect impression of what real-life relationships and love ought to be like. Will I still continue to read this series? The answer is yes. Solely for the sake of the 90's references and the humor it contains. I have no interest in the way the heroine is treated and DEFINITELY not in the romance aspect.

I came here because of METEOR GARDEN.

This TV series has always held a special place in my heart. The story, the characters, and the emotions it evoked were truly captivating.

The beautiful scenery and the stylish outfits added to the overall charm of the show. It was like a dream world that I couldn't help but get lost in.

Every episode left me on the edge of my seat, eager to find out what would happen next. The relationships between the characters were complex and full of drama, making it impossible for me to look away.

METEOR GARDEN has not only entertained me but also inspired me in many ways. It has taught me about love, friendship, and the importance of following my dreams.

That's why I'm here, still reminiscing about the wonderful moments from this amazing TV series.
