Yet again, another stellar installment of the Death Note series!

This third volume truly stood out as it felt even more action-packed than its predecessors. The boundaries between good and bad became increasingly muddied, blurring the lines in a way that kept the reader on the edge of their seat. The art work, too, took a darker turn in tone to match the more complex and intense storyline. It seemed as if this volume marked a significant shift in the series, ushering in a new era where we have now entered deeper into the world of the psychological thriller.

There were multiple layers to this installment, with various genres converging to create a unique and captivating reading experience. However, at its core, it primarily had a crime-based theme. This was further enhanced by the growing focus on the police detectives and the enigmatic L, who were determined to solve the case of the homicidal maniac. The maniac was not only targeting convicted criminals but also the police members who were trying to catch him.

The insights into the two conflicting sides of the case added an extra layer of depth and made this volume truly compelling reading. In true Death Note style, it ended on a cliffhanger that left me absolutely desperate to continue. I have now become a true convert into the fascinating world of Manga.

2020, the second reading edit: It was a really good volume. I don't understand why I gave it a four when I first read it. As I said, perhaps their constantly making overly smart guesses about each other fried my brain (and the same thing happened this time kdjdkd). But even though it was sometimes difficult to follow, I really enjoyed this volume. To write such a story, one must have an extraordinary interior, and I can't help but admire the author...

Light and L were extremely smart, and I was in awe of their intelligence while reading. However, I sometimes had trouble understanding the ideas they had about each other, and this was a bit tiring for me. For now, my favorite volume is the second one. Let's see if my opinion will change.

I have only one volume left, and I really want to read it, but I don't want it to end either because I don't think I'll be able to get another volume for about two months :(

mf was extremely busy killing people starting from a month before his exams. This disturbing and immoral behavior is completely unacceptable. However, astonishingly, he still managed to top the university. It is truly a perplexing situation. One would wonder how he could have achieved such academic success while engaging in such heinous acts. Perhaps there are other factors at play that we are not aware of. Maybe he had some sort of unfair advantage or used unethical means to cheat in the exams. Or perhaps the university's evaluation system is flawed and fails to detect such inappropriate behavior. Whatever the case may be, this incident raises serious questions about the integrity of the educational institution and the values that it upholds.

I am quite satisfied with the progress of "Ölüm Defteri". However, I was more hopeful about Hüseyin Can Erkin's translation. Of course, I'm not sure how much he could put himself into the manga translation, but after his unique translations, he inevitably created this expectation.

Hüseyin Can Erkin has shown remarkable talent in previous translation works. His ability to capture the essence and spirit of the original and convey it accurately in the translated version is truly impressive.

In the case of "Ölüm Defteri", I believe he will also do his best to bring out the full charm of the story. Although there may be some challenges and difficulties in the translation process, I have full confidence in his skills and dedication.

I look forward to seeing the final result of his translation and experiencing the wonderful world of "Ölüm Defteri" through his words.

I will write a complete review when I finish reading this manga.

So far, I only know that the story is getting much better!!

As I continue to read, I am eager to explore more of the plot twists and character developments.

The manga seems to have a unique charm that keeps pulling me in.

I can't wait to see how the story unfolds and what kind of surprises it has in store for me.

Once I've completed the manga, I'll be able to provide a more detailed and comprehensive review, sharing my thoughts and feelings about every aspect of it.

Until then, I'll keep reading and enjoying this wonderful manga.

This is getting crazy.

A second Kira has emerged, and it's causing chaos everywhere.

No one knows who this new Kira is or what their motives are.

The police are scrambling to try and figure out who is behind these killings.

Meanwhile, the public is in a state of panic, not knowing who might be the next victim.

Light Yagami, the original Kira, is also worried about this new development.

He wonders if this second Kira will expose his identity or if they are working with someone else.

As the situation continues to spiral out of control, it seems that only time will tell who will come out on top in this battle of the Kiras.

I've never once considered finding that notebook and gaining this power a misfortune. In fact, it's made me happier than I've ever been. And I'm going to create a perfect world.

Light remains a psychopath, his actions driven by an unwavering belief in his own righteousness. His dad, on the other hand, continues to be a total badass, determined to stop his son at all costs. L, too, lives up to his reputation, albeit at his own funky pace. The story's seriousness is offset by its inherent fun, making it a captivating read.

I have trepidation about the reveal from that last set of panels and the fact that the next volume is entitled Love. What could this mean for the characters and the plot? Only time will tell. But for now, let's see how it goes, right?

The mind games that took place were truly exquisite and of an extremely intense nature. It was a battle of wits and strategies that kept me on the edge of my seat. Every move and countermove was carefully calculated, and the tension in the air was palpable.

But now, having emerged victorious from this mental struggle, I find myself at ease. The satisfaction of outsmarting my opponent and coming out on top is indescribable. I can finally relax and enjoy the moment, knowing that I have proven myself in this intense game of the mind.

It has been a thrilling experience, one that has tested my mental acuity and perseverance. And although it was a tough fight, I wouldn't have had it any other way. For it is in these moments of intense challenge that we truly discover our inner strength and capabilities.

I still don't know what to do with myself other than drowning myself in more manga than I've ever claimed I'd be into. It's like I'm lost in this world of fictional stories, seeking some kind of escape or entertainment.

Anyway, right now, L is kind of on my mind. That character is always trying to be a smartass, but in a way that's quite interesting. And then there's Light, who always manages to find a way to twist everything around. It's fascinating to see how he manipulates the situation to his advantage.

And let's not forget about the new Kira girl. What the hell is going on with her? I'm so confused and intrigued at the same time. I can't wait to see how her story unfolds and how she'll interact with the other characters.

Surprisingly, this volume holds a certain depth.

On one level, we have L directly engaged in surveilling Raito, who is suspected of being Kira. On another, we have L's perspectives on Kira and his more assertive new strategies to reduce crime. This comic begins to bear resemblances to the Columbo TV show, as we know who the killer is and witness how the investigators uncover him.

Raito, with his room wired with no fewer than 64 cameras (talk about overkill), must convince L that he isn't Kira, leading him to kill some more people. One has to admire Raito's meticulous attention to detail, yet L still suspects him, seemingly based on nothing. Because he's like Sherlock 2.0. L stalks Raito during an exam, assuming his customary hugging-knees position. L has to sit like that, sucking his thumb, otherwise his investigative skills are only half as effective. Such depth can only be found in manga.

L reveals himself and his suspicions to Raito, who can't use the Death Note to eliminate L as that would make him the prime suspect. What a brilliant plan. A lengthy conversation follows, with L attempting to incriminate Raito and the latter mostly on the defensive. They are interrupted by a phone call regarding Raito's father, Chief Yagami, who had a heart attack and is in the hospital. The chief confirms L's identity to Raito, who offers his assistance for the investigation.

A TV network receives several tapes from Kira, in which he outlines his plans for a crime-free world with the help of the police and L. Since they refuse, one of them must die, or else several innocent policemen will perish instead. L agrees to be the sacrifice and uses his remarkable Sherlock-like sense to deduce that the Kira making this demand is different from the one they've been dealing with thus far. It turns out the tapes were recorded by a girl named Kira, who also possesses a Death Note. Raito desires to control the new Kira to clear the real Kira's name, just as the new Kira wants to meet Raito.

My favorite one so far.

This simple statement holds a world of meaning for me. It represents the culmination of my experiences and preferences up to this point.

Each thing I encounter is like a unique gem, and among them, this particular one shines the brightest.

It could be a book that transported me to another world, a song that touched my soul, or a place that left an indelible mark on my heart.

Whatever it is, it has captured my attention and won my affection.

I find myself constantly reflecting on it, reliving the moments associated with it.

It serves as a source of inspiration and joy, and I look forward to seeing what else lies ahead that might potentially surpass it.

But for now, it remains my favorite one so far.
