THEY'RE MULTIPLYING. This simple statement holds a sense of urgency and perhaps a touch of horror. What exactly is multiplying? It could be anything from a population of insects to a number of problems. The idea of something multiplying implies growth, and often rapid growth at that. It might make one's heart race as they imagine the consequences of this multiplication. Will it lead to chaos? Will it be impossible to control? The possibilities are endless, and the unknown can be quite terrifying. As we stand here, witnessing this multiplication, we can only wonder what the future holds. Will we be able to stop it? Or will we be overcome by the sheer magnitude of it? Only time will tell.

An epic volume that truly captured my attention. Every time I watched those episodes, my heart skipped a beat in excitement. The story is filled with thrilling moments and complex characters. L, in particular, stands out as a genius intellectual. His deductive skills and ability to think outside the box are truly remarkable.

And then there's Misa Misa, who adds another layer of intrigue to the plot. Her presence brings a different kind of energy to the story. With her unique personality and actions, she keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Together, L and Misa Misa create a dynamic that makes the show even more captivating. Their interactions and the way they play off each other add depth and complexity to the narrative. It's no wonder that this series has become so popular and has a dedicated fan base.

Overall, this epic volume is a must-watch for anyone who loves a good mystery and engaging characters. It will keep you hooked from start to finish and leave you wanting more.

This one was kind of slow.

I mean, I really liked all the smart conversations. They were interesting and engaging. However, the problem was that it only consisted of talking. There wasn't much else going on.

I really wish it would've been more action-packed like the previous two. In those, there were exciting scenes, fast-paced events, and a lot of energy. This one, on the other hand, felt a bit stagnant at times.

Maybe if there had been some more dynamic elements added, like physical challenges, intense chases, or unexpected twists, it would have been a lot more enjoyable. As it was, it was still good because of the great conversations, but it just didn't have the same level of excitement as the others.

I hope that in the future, they can find a better balance between the dialogue and the action to make it a truly thrilling experience.

I truly love the direction in which we are progressing with this story.

It feels as if we are on an exciting journey, with each turn and twist adding more depth and intrigue.

As I look back at all the stories we have created so far, I have to say that this one stands out as my absolute favourite.

There is something about it that just grabs my attention and keeps me engaged from start to finish.

Maybe it's the unique characters, the thrilling plot, or the beautiful language used to describe everything.

Whatever it is, I can't wait to see where this story takes us next.

I have a feeling that it's going to be something truly amazing.

Well... that just happened. I wasn't expecting that at all.

It came as a complete surprise to me. I had no inkling or anticipation of what was about to unfold.

One moment everything seemed normal, and the next, this unexpected event occurred.

I stood there, dumbfounded, trying to process what had just taken place.

My mind was racing with thoughts and questions. How could this have happened? What does it mean for the future?

I was left feeling a mix of confusion, shock, and maybe even a hint of excitement.

As I tried to make sense of it all, I knew that this was an experience that would stay with me for a long time.

It was a reminder that life is full of the unexpected and that we should always be prepared for the unknown.

From now on, I will try to approach each situation with an open mind and a willingness to embrace whatever comes my way.

Because, as I just learned, you never know what might happen next.

Light Yagami is truly a megalomaniac monster. His actions and mindset are extremely dangerous and pose a threat to the entire world.

He believes that he has the right to play god and decide who lives and who dies based on his own warped sense of justice. This kind of thinking is not only arrogant but also completely无视 the value and dignity of human life.

Thankfully, there is Team L, a group of brilliant detectives dedicated to stopping Light Yagami. They are determined to expose his true nature and bring him to justice.

With their sharp intellect and unwavering determination, Team L is the only hope to prevent Light Yagami from causing further destruction. We must support Team L and cheer them on as they fight against this menacing threat. Go Team L!

What was that in the sky?? And at the end, that blonde something??

It was a strange sight that caught everyone's attention. People were looking up, trying to figure out what it could be.

Some thought it might be a bird, but it was too big and had an unusual shape. Others speculated that it could be a plane, but there was no sound of an engine.

As it got closer, they could see that it was a blonde figure, floating in the air. But how was that possible?

It seemed like something out of a science fiction movie or a fairytale. Everyone was amazed and a little bit scared.

What was this mysterious blonde thing in the sky, and where did it come from?

I truly relish the intense battle of wits and will that unfolds between Light and L. Their face-to-face encounter has added an extra layer of excitement and anticipation.

As the story progresses, a new character emerges, yet another human in possession of a Death Note. What makes this character particularly interesting is that they have chosen to accept the shinigami eyes.

I am extremely intrigued to see where this new development will lead. With Light beginning to display some chinks in his armor, the balance of power seems to be shifting.

Will this new character tip the scales further in L's favor, or will Light find a way to regain control? Only time will tell, but I can't wait to find out.

**This is a spoiler free review (spoilers are hidden); it may contain spoilers for previous instalments in series (scroll down)**

The past two reviews of this series followed my typical graphic novel/comic book/manga review format. However, now that the writing style has become rather consistent, I won't focus on it as much. Instead, I'm reverting to a more traditional review form. That said, perhaps I'll notice a shift later and return to the previous format if necessary.

With that out of the way, Hard Run didn't quite reach the level of the previous two instalments, but it was still a good read. I found it a bit more tedious. The lack of engagement until the very end made it feel like a bit of a chore. This somewhat diminished my enjoyment. Additionally, compared to, say, the first volume where each chapter had a specific objective, this one seemed more "padded."

One aspect that was fascinating to read about was the confrontation between L and Light. Their strategic manoeuvring, while perhaps not entirely realistic, kept me on the edge of my seat.

A significant plot twist occurs, which I'll discuss in the spoiler section:

All in all, this is the weakest volume so far, but it's still worth reading.

The excitement is palpable between the pages. It's crazy!! I got goosebumps several times because of just a few black and white drawings with not much text

The story is becoming increasingly interesting and the numerous plot twists have kept me glued to the pages. "Death Note" by Tsugumi Ohba is driving me crazy! There's nothing to say about the illustrations which I really loved in this volume (especially in the scene that I was looking forward to so much: the meeting between Light and L) and for this reason I also want to compliment the illustrator Takeshi Obata who I haven't mentioned until now.

The manga, purchased in Italian, has 200 pages and is published by Planet Manga/Panini Comics; at a price of 4.90 euros.

(I strongly recommend that those who haven't read the previous volumes not read this review for possible and probable spoilers.)

Light and Ryuk were perfect at not arousing suspicion despite the numerous cameras scattered around the house. L, however, is still convinced that the young boy is Kira and decides to reveal his identity (without revealing his true name) to Light with the aim of studying his various behaviors. Kira, however, will show a new side of himself causing only confusion.

The appearance of the second Kira has made me even more nervous and I'm very curious to discover his identity. I know perfectly well that Light's brilliant mind will manage to find some solution for the mistakes that the second Kira is making. Let's talk about the meeting that took place between Light and L?! I've been waiting for this moment for so long... The multiple reasonings of the two protagonists have often left me with my mouth open. This time I also want to talk about Ryuk who, despite the time spent with Light, is not involved for any reason and I'm sure that there will still be many secrets that he hasn't revealed to the young protagonist.

I really like the cover.

My vote is as follows: 4.75 stars out of 5.

With great power comes great… Evil?!

The second volume reaches its conclusion as Raito discovers he is under surveillance due to L's orders. This means he can no longer directly write in the Death Note, as he is certain to be seen by one of the 64 (!) cameras installed in his room. L is tightening the net around Raito, but there is much more to come. Raito, however, does not give up easily. He devises a brilliant plan to deceive both L and his own father. And Kira strikes once again. But there is no suspicious activity that can link Raito to the murders. This should imply that Raito is innocent. However, as you can see, L has other thoughts. Even though his plans continuously fail, he still has an inkling about the identity of Kira. So, he decides to keep a close watch on Raito himself.

The First Meeting:

Raito goes to take his college entrance exam. While writing the exam, his attention is drawn to the invigilator speaking to a young man who is sitting with his knees drawn up. Who could it be? Of course, it's L! And that's how L and Raito meet for the very first time. This is THE moment in the entire series up to this point, and the buildup is truly amazing.

description

The two later give a speech at Touou University as they have both achieved perfect scores in the examination. L introduces himself to Raito, and they become "friends". But there is no real friendship here, as both of them are attempting to assess the other's next move and thoughts. This tension between the main characters is the reason why Death Note is so popular with people. The second volume didn't have much of this, but this volume is filled with the clash between L and Raito. And I'm probably going to have high blood pressure and shortness of breath by the end of this series.

description

Exchange of Ideas:

L and Raito have a "friendly" game of Tennis, and this match gives the two an impression of each other. Both are trying to figure out who the other really is. While Raito is wondering about L's identity, L is attempting to profile Raito based on Kira's mannerisms. This leads to a lengthy discussion about Kira, and the ever-confident Raito starts to lose some of his confidence under L's gaze but quickly recovers. This battle of wits is truly something to behold. (What are you still waiting for? Read this book right now!)

Family Emergency:

The discussion is cut short as Raito receives news of a family emergency. I can't elaborate further for fear of revealing a spoiler. But this is probably going to blow your mind as it did mine. You have been warned.

Kira Makes An Appearance:

Kira sends some tapes to a TV channel stating his demands. He asks them to broadcast the tapes according to the instructions he has given. He wishes the police to cooperate with him and states that if they don't, they will have to face the consequences. Raito is seen laughing fearlessly during the broadcast.

Another Kira?

Revelation time! Is there another Kira out there? And who is he? There is another Shinigami that has fallen to the human world, and Raito is the only person who knows about it. He decides to use this information to his advantage. Raito makes up his mind to join the team of investigators to keep an eye on L and the other Kira.

Let the mind games begin!
