I was seriously considering using this particular thing for my middle school students.

However, it has come to my attention that apparently it gets fairly violent after volume 6.

This is a significant concern as I want to ensure that the materials I present to my students are appropriate and do not expose them to excessive or inappropriate content.

Violence can have a negative impact on the mental and emotional well-being of young minds, and I am committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment.

I will need to carefully evaluate whether it is still advisable to use this despite the potential violence issue.

Perhaps I could explore other options that are more suitable for my middle school students and that will engage them in a positive and educational way.

It is important to make a well-informed decision that takes into account the best interests of my students.

The experience was really great.

In the initial parts, it was introductory about how the place was. There was a surprise in a very pleasant food place.

At one moment, Fay really shone!

It was as if she was the center of attention, radiating with charm and energy.

Everyone around seemed to notice her presence and be drawn to her.

Her actions and words left a lasting impression on those who were there.

It was a memorable moment that added to the overall wonderful experience of the occasion.

Overall, it was a great time filled with interesting introductions, a pleasant surprise, and a shining moment for Fay.

In this volume, the first arc is completed. The protagonists finish their visit to the first world, retrieve the first feather, and start to interact with each other.

We can see that actually all of them know how to fight and the cameos in this world are not only limited to Arashii and Sorata. We also see the geniuses from Rayearth.

At this moment, things still seem much more innocent than they really are. (Also, we can see how Kurogane and Fay are gradually falling in love xD) This volume marks an important milestone in the story, as the characters begin to develop deeper relationships and face new challenges. The addition of the cameos from other worlds adds an interesting layer of complexity to the narrative. As the story progresses, we can expect to see more drama, action, and romance unfold.

The art is truly, truly beautiful!

It is extremely emotive in certain parts, and superbly conveys the mood of the story.

Just as I mentioned in my review of the previous volume, the story is far more captivating than I recalled it to be when I initially read it during my teenage years.

However, I can't claim that I have very strong feelings about the characters in this volume.

They don't really seem that three-dimensional to me at the moment.

But I have a hunch that they will all become more nuanced as the story unfolds and progresses.

Perhaps as the plot thickens and more details are revealed about their pasts, present circumstances, and future aspirations, I will develop a deeper connection and understanding of these characters.

Until then, I will continue to enjoy the beautiful art and engaging story.

This volume didn't possess quite the same level of interest as the first volume where the main characters embarked on their journey. It became a bit absurd with Primera's singing attacks and all the battles and such.

Moreover, this is the first volume that I've read in English, and I'm not overly impressed with a few aspects of it. One nitpicky point is the poor editing - they can't seem to decide whether to call the character I mentioned above "Primera" or "Primela". Just pick one! Also, I'm uncertain about how Fai's name was meant to be spelled in romaji according to CLAMP. Since he created Chi and speaks in Greek letters when the characters lose their translator, Mokona, I'm inclined to guess they were aiming for "Phi". However, Wikipedia states that it was originally romanized as "Fay", so perhaps not? Hmm.

"Syaoran" is also not my preferred romanization for the main character's name. Although I think that spelling is common, strictly speaking, it should probably be something like "Xiao Ran", though I have no idea if that's correct as I don't speak Chinese. At least a spelling closer to the way an English-speaking person should pronounce it would be nice... like "Shaoran", or "Shaolan", or "Shao Lan" or something. When I see "Syaoran", I want to pronounce it as if I'm a child with a speech impediment. "Sssiow-rahn." Ugh.

I haven't read too many recently translated and commercially published manga. I just started on Oh My Goddess!, which has perhaps spoiled me somewhat as Dark Horse uses more diverse text in that and they have extensive and meticulous translators' notes. The text in Tsubasa is rather plain. The translators' notes also aren't that in-depth, although I did enjoy the parts about Tokyo vs. Osaka culture.

I'm still enjoying this as a series and will attempt to obtain more of the English versions of the manga since I seem to be able to breeze through them more quickly.

I can't help but make a bit of a comparison between this volume and Pokemon. However, due to this, it came across as a touch cheesier than I had anticipated.

Syaoran and his three companions embark on a journey to a new world. In this world, each person has a "Kudan," or protective spirit, which generally takes the form of an animal. There are numerous fight scenes involving the Kudan. To me, they definitely seemed quite similar to those in Pokemon!

Nonetheless, it was an entertaining read. I especially appreciated the clarification regarding how all these characters are able to speak different languages and yet still understand each other. This was something that had been bothering me while reading the first part, and I'm glad that it was addressed and clarified in this volume.

Overall, despite the cheesiness in some aspects, it had its enjoyable moments and the clarification of the language issue added to the overall experience.

I am truly loving this story!

It has captured my attention from the very beginning and refuses to let go. The characters are so vividly portrayed that I feel as if I know them personally. Their emotions and experiences are palpable, making me empathize with them on a deep level.

The plot is filled with twists and turns that keep me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to see what will happen next. Every page turn brings a new surprise and a new reason to be completely engaged in the story.

The author's writing style is also a joy to read. It is流畅 and engaging, making the story flow seamlessly. I find myself getting lost in the words and forgetting about the world around me.

Overall, this story is a masterpiece. It has everything that I look for in a good read - great characters, an exciting plot, and beautiful writing. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good story.

At first, it was just an ordinary story.

However, as the story progressed, it became increasingly complicated, and I simply couldn't take my eyes off it.

The story very much has the trademark of Clamp, with its elements of future business and the diverse wishes of each character.

It delves into a world where the boundaries between the present and the future are blurred, and where the desires and ambitions of the characters drive the narrative forward.

The intricate plot twists and turns, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat, eager to discover what will happen next.

Each character is richly developed, with their own unique personalities and motives, adding depth and complexity to the story.

Overall, it is a captivating and engaging tale that showcases the talent and creativity of Clamp.

Syaoran and his companions continue their exciting adventures in a brand-new world.

For Syaoran, this is his very first experience in a new world. They encounter the strange and wonderful magic of this place, and are faced with the challenge of finding the feather that holds Princess Sakura's missing memories.

However, Syaoran's strong magic attracts unwanted attention, and he soon finds himself in the middle of a turf war. In the chaos, he risks losing track of the all-important feather.

Despite some confusion during the fight scenes, I'm still thoroughly enjoying this story. I can sense that I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to reading comics and manga.

But there's no denying that the art is beautiful, and it's just my own lack of visual literacy that causes some confusion. The mysteries and relationships in this story are truly engaging, and I can't wait to read the third installment soon!

I truly have a deep affection for this progression among our three principal protagonists.

The fantasy element is highly engaging. Although they all commence extremely powerfully, I can envision how obstacles will persist in creating difficulties as the narrative unfolds.

The battle scenes are somewhat perplexing, yet fortunately brief. I ponder whether they would appear more impressive when animated.

Nonetheless, I am completely obsessed!

I find myself constantly drawn to the story, eager to see how the relationships between the protagonists will further evolve and how they will overcome the challenges that lie ahead.

The fantasy world that has been created is rich and detailed, and I can't wait to explore more of it.

Even with the minor drawbacks of the confusing battle scenes, the overall story is so captivating that it more than makes up for it.

I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy adventure with complex characters and an exciting plot.

The story of Tsubasa is sad and has many melancholic elements, but precisely because of that, it is why I like it so much.

Sakura and Shaoran here have a precious love story, but it is very, very painful and it tears you apart little by little. The memories of what it was and what it is now are beautiful to read, although they leave you with a devastating feeling.

Fye and Kurogane are the perfect companions. Their personalities, attitudes, and ways of getting involved in the situation that they have to go through together give that touch of grace, fun, and action to these adventures.

Not to mention Mokona and its very cute appearance. Tsubasa takes readers on an emotional rollercoaster, with its complex plot and well-developed characters. It makes you laugh, cry, and feel a whole range of emotions. The art is also beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the story. Whether you are a fan of romance, adventure, or fantasy, Tsubasa has something for everyone. It is a story that will stay with you long after you have finished reading it.
