The gang holds their permit, yet they have set up their operation away from the bustling foot traffic. This poses a challenge as they require Izark's remarkable athletic abilities to draw customers towards them. Fortunately, their plan turns out to be a major success, and they manage to sell most of their goods. However, as night descends, they face another setback. They are unceremoniously kicked out of their inn, and unfortunately, none of the other inns are willing to accept them.

The streets at night take on an eerie and spooky atmosphere. A carriage accompanied by four guards passes by them. Strangely, two of the guards seem to have an otherworldly and eerie aura surrounding them.

Two servants from the Arkarella house approach Izark and his friends and persuade them to stay at their master's house. In return, Izark will perform for their master and his guest, Hydran. During dinner, they discover that the prisoner is the former chief cabinet secretary Clairgeeta, and his crime is the claim that everyone has misinterpreted the prophecy. He believes that the sky demon is not evil but can, in fact, be an agent of good. Later that night, everyone harbors the desire to save the prisoner but is at a loss as to how to go about it.

By following a spy, Izark learns of another group that is planning to rescue Clairgeeta. They need Izark to distract Hydran while they free the prisoner. Danjel, Wei, and Katarina are former members of the Gray Bird tribe. Izark returns to his friends and informs them of this new development.

Showtime arrives, and Alef speaks on Izark's behalf during the performance. But first, they have to rescue the chimos from Arkarella's possession, which they accomplish successfully. Then comes the main performance, and Salier unwittingly volunteers, walking right into Izark and Alef's精心策划的 plans. The performance is a resounding success, and they depart once it concludes.

After getting Salier down from the tree, Hydran is informed that his prisoner has escaped and demands that the Brunei brothers recapture him. Meanwhile, Tazasheena has been closely following Izark and Noriko. Sido siphons her ability to locate their prisoner and his cohorts before going after them alone.

Izark's group is traveling as swiftly as possible to meet up with Danjel and his group. However, they learn that the Brunei brothers are hot on their heels. As a result, Izark decides to go on ahead.

Izark arrives just in time before anyone is killed, knocking Lida down. Meanwhile, thanks to Tazasheena's attacker, she can now find Izark and Noriko, courtesy of the people they are traveling with.

Something I was truly not anticipating Kanata Kara to do was to address the topic of trans people in such an elegant manner— and so far ahead of its time as well— this tankobon was initially published in Japan in 2000. I am deeply impressed. Izark just keeps accruing brownie points with me, although I wasn't keeping count before.

However, it is also simply very strange yet interesting to encounter a trans character in any manga media from this era aside from Sailor Moon— typically, they are utilized as traps or gags. These are the only two series I am aware of thus far that dealt with it so proficiently from back then. Great job.

As Noriko and Izark grow closer, the impending doom for them and the world also looms larger. But they are on a path to a man who has reason to suspect that the prophecy is incorrect and that people are misusing this object of power according to their own desires. Political leaders are trying to influence the masses by making them believe and spread false platitudes regarding the end of the world through the Awakening and the Sky Demon.

Thankfully, Noriko and Izark never lack allies for long as they team up with some individuals to save this man with his rare belief. And once again, they are on another pursuit for a better truth than the reality they have been indoctrinated with.

I firmly believe that the "truth" that Noriko and Izark have been led to believe is distorted or false. There is far more to this prophecy than what is permitted to be known. In fact, the Sky Demon is likely a neutral force. Perhaps. At the very least, I believe that with Noriko's influence, Izark can overcome the demon's instinct and become stronger.

In 2007,

it was a year filled with various events and developments. People were going about their daily lives, working, studying, and pursuing their dreams.

Fast forward to January 9, 2015,

nearly eight years had passed. The world had changed in many ways during this time. Technology had advanced rapidly, bringing new opportunities and challenges. Society had also evolved, with new trends and ideas emerging. On this particular day in 2015, people were waking up to a new dawn, ready to face the day and make the most of it. Whether it was going to work, school, or simply spending time with family and friends, every moment counted. As the years continued to pass, it was clear that the world would continue to change and evolve, and people would have to adapt and keep moving forward.

This eleventh entry in Kyoko Hikawa's fourteen-volume fantasy epic is a captivating addition. It chronicles the adventures of two star-crossed lovers from different worlds. They are ensnared in a dark prophecy predicting that one will transform the other into a world-destroying monster. The story opens in Coropori, an Aibisk port city. Noriko, Izark, and their companions had arrived here at the close of the tenth episode.

They are still grappling with corrupt local officials who seem hell-bent on making life hard for this new group of traveling "merchants." Alef hatches a plan to sell the last of their wares by luring people in with an acrobatic display starring Izark. When this unofficial show catches the eye of town official Arkarella, Izark is pressed into service as entertainment for Lord Hydran, who is passing through town with an important prisoner. The companions see this as an opportunity to rescue another victim of the worsening political climate.

The dissident scholar, Mr. Clairgeeta, offers an alternative interpretation of the prophecy, bringing the first glimmer of hope to our hero and heroine. However, his rescue and the group's subsequent flight attract the terrifying and not-altogether-human Brunei brothers, who give chase. This was an exciting installment, with many amusing scenes in Coropori. The introduction of Mr. Clairgeeta adds a new layer of depth to the story, suggesting that the prophecy might be something to embrace rather than avoid. But Hikawa doesn't let the reader dwell on this comforting thought for long, as a thrilling chase and confrontation conclude the volume. I couldn't wait to pick up the next one to find out how the battle with the Brunei brothers ends.

4 Stars

This review starts with a solid 4-star rating. The product or service being evaluated clearly has many positive aspects. It likely meets or exceeds most of the expectations set for it. Perhaps it offers excellent quality, functionality, or performance. The features are probably well-designed and user-friendly, making it accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of users.

However, a 4-star rating also implies that there is still some room for improvement. Maybe there are a few minor flaws or areas that could be enhanced to make it even better. It could be something as simple as a small design tweak or a more efficient process. Despite these small drawbacks, the overall experience is still very good, and the product or service is definitely worth considering.

In conclusion, a 4-star rating indicates that the item being reviewed is a great choice with only a few areas that could be polished to reach that perfect 5-star status. It is a recommendation that others should take seriously when looking for a quality option in its category.

The more I delve into this series, the deeper my affection for it grows.

Certainly, the artistic aspect might be a touch lacking, yet the captivating plot more than compensates.

Here we are, at the eleventh volume, and still the story retains its allure, compelling me to read on, eager to discover what lies ahead.

In this volume, there isn't an abundance of magic, but the presence of Izark as a performer for a wealthy and corrupt individual is truly hilarious.

I have a great fondness for the chimos, and even Doros has become a far more likable character as time progresses.

Alas, only three more volumes remain until I conclude this series. I'm going to miss it dearly.

It has been a wonderful journey filled with excitement, humor, and engaging characters.

I can't wait to see how it all concludes.

Noooo, that's just way too cute!

The way he worries about her is simply heart-melting. It's as if his world revolves around her well-being. Every little thing that might potentially cause her harm or discomfort makes him extremely concerned. His eyes are constantly filled with a look of anxiety and care whenever he is with her. He is always there, ready to step in and protect her from any possible danger. It's like a beautiful and touching scene that unfolds before our eyes. We can't help but be charmed by his genuine concern for her. It makes us believe that true love exists and that when someone really cares about another person, they will go to great lengths to ensure their safety and happiness.

And this is exactly what we see in his actions towards her. It's just too precious for words.

I'm really trying my hardest not to doze off while reading this. The words seem to blend together, and my eyes keep getting heavier. But you know what? I'm determined to finish it, no matter how sleepy I am. Lol.

It's like a battle between my tiredness and my willpower. I keep telling myself that I'm almost there, just a few more pages to go. I take deep breaths to try and stay awake, and I shift my position in my chair.

I can feel my mind starting to wander, but I bring it back to the task at hand. I'm not going to give up. I'm going to push through this and finish reading this article. And when I do, I'll feel a sense of accomplishment. Lol.

I was pondering that it seems a bit tardy in the series to still be engaging in these little circus acts as distractions.

Perhaps I was fatigued while reading it, and maybe that has somewhat muddled my judgment.

I am eager for things to come to a conclusion!

But that is likely because it has been rather difficult for me to get hold of this series in the first place.

Nevertheless, it was still decent, yet it didn't captivate me in the same way that the previous ones in the past had.

I hope that the remaining installments will bring a more satisfying resolution and reignite my enthusiasm for the series.

Maybe there are still some hidden gems and surprises waiting to be discovered that will make it all worthwhile.

Only time will tell, and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

The best part about this volume was undoubtedly Izark as the street performer. His presence added a unique charm and flavor to the story.

However, it should be noted that more corrupt government officials take up the bulk of this book. Their actions and misdeeds lead to more wrongful arrests, which further complicates the plot.

As I continue to read, I'm starting to see the big picture and am truly intrigued at how everything is coming together. The various storylines and characters are gradually weaving together, creating a complex and engaging narrative.

I find myself on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating the conclusion. I can't wait to see how it all ends and how the author will tie up all the loose ends. It's this anticipation that keeps me hooked and makes me look forward to the next installment.

Kanata Kara by Kyoko Hikawa has been my most favorite Shoujo Manga since the early 90s till today. I know it will stay as my most favorite for years to come.

Kanata Kara is the only shoujo manga that can come close to shounen manga. Hikawa can beautifully mix a love story with an interesting adventure and great fighting scenes. She also puts some good moral in it.
