for as high as I am on part 3, I actually wasn't terribly invested in Abdul vs Polnareff or Josuke vs fish. The first encounter was rather uneventful, lacking in excitement and drama. It just kind of happened and that was it. The second one, Josuke vs fish, simply didn't hold my interest. Maybe it was the nature of the opponents or the way the battles played out, but they didn't really engage me on a deeper level.

However, it's not a big deal though, since the encounter with the orangutan was the right kind of bonkers. It was completely unexpected and full of crazy twists and turns. It really showed the potential of what a stand can be and how Araki is constantly pushing the boundaries of this concept.

Already, Araki is experimenting with just what a stand can be and who can use it. Throughout this volume, I've enjoyed the mysteries involved. The gang has to determine if what's going on is due to a stand, what that stand's limits are, and who is controlling it. It's really fun and interesting to see them try to figure it all out. Because of how fresh stands are, this volume can get away with 2 less than stellar battles. The overall concept and the mysteries surrounding the stands are enough to keep me engaged and entertained.

The art in this book is truly perfect, and the characters are equally so. I already have the third installment of this series and I am really looking forward to reading it tomorrow.

Yep. Stardust Crusaders is an absolute goldmine of memes, far more than I initially thought. I find myself thoroughly enjoying the process of compiling these.

Memes in this volume are truly a sight to behold. There are animated gifs and static images that range from hilarious to downright absurd.

The "NON NON NON NON NON" meme is quite memorable, as is the one where it seems like Jotaro is harming marine life.

But out of all of them, there's one that makes me laugh the hardest, and I can't quite put my finger on why.

There are also some images that seem a bit out of place, like the one that says "Wait... wrong book."

3.5 - There will be many random stand battles just to fill the chapter, and it can already be seen.

In this installment, it seems that the author is resorting to a rather common tactic. Instead of developing the main plot in a more meaningful way, there are numerous random stand battles being introduced. These battles, while perhaps exciting in the moment, seem to serve little purpose other than to take up space and increase the page count.

It's a bit disappointing to see this happen, as it detracts from the overall quality of the story. One hopes that in future installments, the author will focus more on character development, plot progression, and creating a more engaging and satisfying narrative.

Rather than relying on these random battles to fill the chapter, there are surely other ways to build tension, create conflict, and keep the reader interested. It will be interesting to see if the author can break free from this pattern and deliver a more compelling story in the future.

Since the introduction of the "幽波紋" aka the stand in the previous volume, the story structure has indeed become quite interesting.

However, there are still several aspects that I'm not particularly fond of. Firstly, the way the male characters treat women. Although I understand that this manga is targeted at young boys, it still feels a bit off.

Secondly, the characters tend to explain everything because the drawing isn't clear enough and the battle scenes are overly complicated. Just like Speedwagon did in the previous parts 1 and 2.

Thirdly, I find it rather strange when the characters actually say the word "ニヤリ" instead of simply doing it.

On the other hand, there are also things that I find interesting. For example, the way Joseph Joestar talks. He uses an "old man" speech pattern. I can't help but wonder when people would shift their speech patterns like that. None of my grandparents or parents talk like that, but the old people in these fictions do. It's quite an interesting phenomenon to observe.

Overall, while there are some drawbacks, the story still has its charm and keeps me engaged.
