“Telling the story of my life, about a boy from a broken home, from a very poor environment, with bad grades and a bad attitude and emphasizing the fact that God gave me the possibility to do the things I wanted to achieve, I also had the opportunity to show people that God is still active today.” This sentence from the last pages summarizes the entire book.
Reaching the end of the book, I was glad that I didn't abandon it even though the first part wasn't very promising. However, God reminded me of the fact that each person has a certain level of influence on those around him.
The second part of the book presents some principles of the author regarding success, work, knowledge through a very interesting and practical acrostic. For example:
“We should not compare our achievements with those of others. We should only ask ourselves one question: Did we do everything we could as well as possible?”
“Associate with the people you want to resemble. As long as we are still alive, we are still able to grow.”
“When people find excuses, it is because they do not realize that God has given each of us more than fourteen billion cells and nerve connections in our brains. Why would God give us such a complex organic system if He didn't expect us to use it?”
