A good book is truly a treasure. The concept of reading 2 books per week has really stuck with me. It has become a driving force that constantly pushes me to read more.
Whenever I think about this goal, it gives me a sense of purpose and direction. I find myself looking forward to the time when I can immerse myself in the world of books.
Reading has not only broadened my knowledge but also enriched my imagination. It allows me to explore different cultures, experiences, and ideas.
Thanks to this idea, I have developed a consistent reading habit. I am more motivated than ever to discover new books and expand my literary horizons.
I believe that by坚持 reading 2 books per week, I will continue to grow and learn, and become a more well-rounded person.
I quite enjoyed reading this book. However, some of the points he makes here are completely absurd and very questionable.
One of them was when he claimed that he almost assaulted his mother and when he did not study for the exam and God somehow showed him all the answers. This kind of statement seems rather far-fetched and makes one wonder about the credibility of his account.
In my opinion, he didn't improve much from his so-called dumb state to his smart state. I feel like he does not have a good ability of logical reasoning. It often happens when one reads only a few books on specific subjects and then tries to apply that limited knowledge in a broader context.
Just think about it when he makes stupid statements like, to paraphrase him, "African American came to the U.S. as immigrants." Who would even say something like that? It shows a lack of understanding of history and basic facts.
As I have newly developed my interest in reading outside of my profession, this book has truly captured my attention. It is not only highly relatable but also incredibly inspiring. What I like most about it is that Ben is so motivated to share his personal experiences and stories. His openness and honesty make the book all the more engaging. I find myself reflecting on my own life and experiences as I read through the pages. I wish I had discovered this book earlier in life, but it is never too late. Even at this stage, it has the power to influence and motivate me. It serves as a reminder that it is never too late to pursue our interests and dreams. I am excited to see where this newfound passion for reading will take me.
