The longer we know Him, the more He takes away those supports, and we find it more challenging to perceive Him. After some time, if we aren't cautious, we'll end up stumbling through life without truly seeking Him anymore.

We can observe and discover God all around us throughout the day, every single day. Ortberg also frequently referred to Brother Laurence's book "Practicing the Presence of God" when discussing being with God all day, every day.

Distraction gives rise to bitterness and burnout.

We need to be more aware and intentional in our pursuit of God to maintain that close relationship and avoid getting lost in the distractions of life.

So, I have taken on the responsibility of reading each chapter to her so that she can hear the important information within.

I have just begun this process, and at this moment, I don't really know what my thoughts are. I am focused on reading clearly and accurately, making sure that she can understand every word. I am also aware of the importance of this task and the impact it can have on her learning experience.
