Be TRANSFORMED By the Renewing of The MIND!!!

I don't know exactly where to begin, except to give all the GLORY to GOD!!! If you are in a state of wonder, pondering whether you should purchase this book - then by all means, DO IT!!! If you are currently suffering from depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, self-pity, jealousy, or anything in between, PLEASE READ THIS!!! I have been completely delivered from all of these areas through reading this book!!! In fact, it had such a profound impact on me that I'm going to read it again!!! It's truly about having your eyes of understanding opened!!! Don't wait until you've finished reading the entire book to start studying and putting the principles into practice - begin immediately!!! Take detailed notes and then GO BACK and refer to them!!! Truly, God worked through Joyce Myers when she wrote this book. It was through reading this that, first of all, I finally repented for something I had done 11 months ago. Secondly, I came to a deep understanding of my depression - what it truly is, where it originates from, and how to effectively fight it. And last but not least, I received a revelation to a question that I've been asking God for 4 long years!!! While reading this book, God showed me the answer to every single question, and also revealed that it was only supposed to be a 4-month process!!! But due to my disobedience, complaining, and passiveness, it took me a whopping 48 months to be delivered from something that was原本 only supposed to take 4 months...But still, to GOD be the GLORY!!! My fire has been rekindled, and I can't wait to share this amazing experience with the whole world

1. This continuous mental focus on rationalizing things causes fatigue to the body.

2. As you think in your heart, so shall you be.

3. It is certain that our thoughts affect our behaviors and our emotional states.

4. No one can change others. The only one who can do that is Allah, just as we cannot change ourselves.

In conclusion, our mental state and thoughts play a significant role in our lives. The continuous rationalization of things can take a toll on our physical well-being. What we think in our hearts has a direct impact on who we are and how we behave. It is a known fact that our thoughts influence our actions and emotions. Moreover, we should realize that we have limited power when it comes to changing others. Only Allah has the ultimate authority to bring about change. Similarly, changing ourselves is also a challenging task. We need to be aware of the power of our thoughts and strive to maintain a positive mental attitude.

I have this wonderful book neatly placed on my bookshelf. Over the years, I have always found myself revisiting it every so often.

Joyce offers some truly simple yet effective strategies on how we can utilize the tools that are already within us to transform our thought patterns and patterns of behavior.

Throughout the years, I have endured a rollercoaster of emotions and various thought patterns. However, Joyce's reassuring words have been like a guiding light, leading me through some of the toughest challenges that I have faced in my life.

I had to undertake the process of relearning my thought patterns and behaviors. I also addressed the areas of my life that required attention. When coupled with prayer and the Word, Joyce makes this book an easy and enjoyable read that is truly worth revisiting again and again. It has become a source of inspiration and strength for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking to make positive changes in their lives.

This was an amazing find!

I actually discovered it in a secondhand bookshop. After reading and watching (and thoroughly enjoying) Joyce Meyers' work, I just had to pick it up for only £2.50

This book presents a rather mixed bag.

On one hand, it is a bit fluffy due to its heavy reliance on anecdotes and generalized examples. The overuse of exclamation points also gives it a somewhat unprofessional feel.

However, on the other hand, it does have its moments of insight. It offers some suggestions on what we can do to strengthen our minds for Christ, which can be quite thought-provoking.

The scriptural references included in the book are also a plus, as they add a layer of authenticity and depth.

All in all, while the book has its merits, it ultimately feels like a somewhat unhelpful self-help. It may offer some interesting ideas, but it lacks the practical guidance and actionable steps that one would expect from a truly useful self-help book.

Perhaps with a bit more focus and refinement, it could have been a more valuable resource for those seeking to grow in their faith and strengthen their minds for Christ.

She didn't even make it through this one.

It's truly astonishing. She talks non-stop, yet it feels as if she says nothing of substance.

Her words seem to just float in the air, lacking any real meaning or depth.

One might listen intently, hoping to catch a glimmer of something profound, but it never comes.

It's as if she is just filling the space with empty sounds, perhaps trying to hide something or simply not having anything worthwhile to share.

Whatever the reason, it's a disappointment.

We expect more from those who claim to have something to say.

But in her case, it's all just talk and no substance.

It makes one wonder if she even realizes the futility of her words.

Maybe she'll eventually learn to say something that matters.

Until then, we'll just have to endure her endless chatter that says nothing.

Joyce Meyer breaks it down so simply.

This is indeed the strength of this book.

Sure, I'm familiar with everything she says, including the remedies and the anecdotes.

However, just because you know something doesn't mean you remember to apply it to your daily life.

When I read this book, I was going through a prolonged tough and discouraging time.

When you're in such a situation, the things you hear from a pulpit don't always jump to the forefront of your mind as you struggle through the week.

Then came "Battlefield of The Mind".

It provided me with clarity and helped/reminded me to look at my problems from a different angle so that I could surmount them.

I found it very empowering and helpful.

It's a book to read again and again when needed.

It's now on my treasured bookshelf.

This book has truly made a significant impact on my life and way of thinking.

It serves as a constant reminder that we have the power to change our perspective and overcome the challenges that come our way.

Joyce Meyer's simple yet profound teachings have the ability to transform lives, and I'm grateful to have discovered this book during my difficult times.

I thought this book was the most amazing eye-opener.

For me personally, I realized that my constant distractions, racing mind, and cluttered thoughts were not truly who I was. Instead, there were two main reasons for this. Firstly, my mind had become a weak muscle, lacking the strength and focus it needed. Secondly, it was an attack from the enemy, trying to disrupt my peace and productivity.

Since I began reading this book, I have shared its helpfulness with several people. They have also started reading it and love it just as much as I do. It has had a profound impact on almost every area of my life. As a wife, a mom, a homemaker, a blogger, and a Life Coach, I have found that it has given me the tools and strategies I need to be more effective and fulfilled in each of these roles.

Not only has this book set me free from my overthinking mind, but it has also helped me spiritually. I now know that I can take charge of my thoughts, focus on meditating on God, reading my Bible, and spending quality time in prayer. It has also helped me emotionally, as I can now better control my emotions and not let them dictate my actions and decisions.

Overall, I give this book two thumbs up, five stars, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a life-changing read. It is truly a must-read on my list.

Am I losing the battle in my mind since I didn't like this book?

Sigh... Where to start? I guess I'll first point out that I see where this book could help a lot of people, but it wasn't for me. I must've recognized this early on because at the top of page nine I scribbled "Reminder: take what you can use and leave the rest."

This was the book for our bible study session these past few months. I got a few things out of it, but a lot of it was just... ugh. I still can't completely put my finger on all of it. Maybe it'll come out as I type this out.

The author's writing style sometimes nearly drove me mad. We watched a small segment of her speaking, and I think she's a much better speaker than writer. As I read along, I kept getting the notion that this woman might be a twit, though I don't believe that after seeing her speaking segment and looking at what she's accomplished.

The Biblical quotes used in this primarily come from the Amplified Bible. I've never read that one much, but I can now say that I hate it. It's dumbed down so far that it's intellectually insulting to the educated. A lot of the biblical passages used were forced into the scenario making it feel contrived.

As for the content, I had some trouble there too. The premise that Satan is behind all of our bad thoughts just didn't sit well with me. I believe that a human has the capacity for both good and evil without an external force like Satan.

A lot of the solutions were overly simplistic and might not apply well to people with depression or other mental conditions. I think Joyce Meyer's approach is a bit too one-size-fits-all.

However, there were some things in here that I'm putting into practice. Positive thinking does help, and the "Wilderness Mentalities" section of the book was my favorite part.

In conclusion, I'll end where I started. Take what you can use, and leave the rest. But I'm afraid there just wasn't much I could use in this one. I'll pass it on to a couple of friends who might enjoy it.
