A good writing of essays is filled with a great deal of wisdom that can be readily applied to your everyday life. One of the most interesting and thought-provoking parts in the book was the chapter about complaining. It clearly states that "What you're supposed to do when you don't like a thing is change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it. Don't complain." This simple yet profound advice has truly become words for me to live by in my daily life. It has made me realize that instead of wasting time and energy on complaining about things that bother us, we should focus on taking action to make a positive change. And if the situation is beyond our control, we can still choose to view it from a different perspective and find the silver lining. By following this principle, I have found that my life has become more positive and fulfilling.
