In London Bridges, Alex finds himself in a perilous situation as he has to confront two elusive killers that he has not yet managed to apprehend: the weasel and the wolf. The weasel, also known as Geoffrey Shafer, is a brutal serial killer who preys on prostitutes. On the other hand, the Wolf is a mastermind and a psychopath, hailing from The Big Bad Wolf.

This book is filled with numerous unexpected twists and turns that completely caught me off guard. It was truly fascinating to witness how Alex gradually realized that the Wolf and the Weasel were collaborating - and they were extremely proficient at it.

Some of the deaths in this book were truly shocking. I kept convincing myself that certain characters wouldn't die, especially since Patterson had described them as good friends or companions. But then, out of nowhere, WHAM - death.

I'm fairly certain that this book gave me several mini heart attacks. I'm glad that I read this incredibly creepy thriller, and I'm eagerly looking forward to delving into the next one. I just hope that Alex will learn to solve cases more quickly in the upcoming books - especially considering that he has been dealing with multiple people or cases throughout most of the series.

So, I'm a huge fan of Patterson and I've fallen head over heels in love with this series.

However, this particular installment was not quite to my taste. It didn't quite hit the mark for me as some of the others in the series had.

But that's okay, because I'm looking forward to moving on to "The Big Bad Wolf". I'm sure it will offer a different and perhaps more engaging story.

Overall, I'd rate this one at 3.5 stars. It had its moments, but it just didn't quite measure up to my expectations.

Nevertheless, I remain a dedicated fan of Patterson and his work, and I'm excited to see what the next book in the series has in store for me.

Ugh, I always have a love-hate relationship with Patterson's books.

This particular one doesn't have much to like. The writing seems juvenile, the characters come across as cartoonish, and the plot is over the top and implausible.

So, the question is, am I going to continue reading the series? Well, yeah, probably. I keep hoping that the next one will be better. Maybe Patterson will redeem himself with the next installment.

But this one definitely wasn't it. It failed to meet my expectations and left me feeling a bit disappointed. However, I'm still willing to give the series another chance in the hope that it will improve.

This one was a roller-coaster ride like no other I´ve "been on" lately!!

It was an absolute whirlwind of emotions and experiences. Up and down, left and right, the twists and turns were enough to make my head spin. I found myself constantly on the edge of my seat, waiting to get off because my mind was just in a frenzy. What in the ever loving world was going on? The mystery of who really was the Wolf kept me guessing and second-guessing at every turn.

But all is good that ends well...or did it end? That's the question that lingers in my mind. There are still so many unanswered questions and loose ends. I guess we´ll have to wait and see what the future holds and if the true identity of the Wolf will ever be revealed. Only time will tell, and until then, I'll be on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting the next chapter of this thrilling adventure.

What can I say?

It's a very bad book! I'm a big fan of Patterson, but this one is just terrible.

There's no real plot. Things seem to happen randomly, out of nowhere. There's no connection between the characters. There's no real investigation going on. And there's no twist at the end.

Speaking of the end, what on earth was that? It was one of the worst and poorest endings I've ever read!

The sentence in the synopsis says: "Then, in the most unforgettable finale James Patterson has ever written, Alex Cross confronts the truth of the Wolf’s identity – a revelation that even Cross himself may be unable to survive." What? Unforgettable? Why? Only because it was so bad! The Wolf's identity and the fact that Cross will be unable to survive, how does that make sense? There's nothing interesting there at all.

Sigh.... At least it was a quick read.

Another thrilling adventure awaits with Alex Cross. This time, it involves a global terroristic conspiracy. The terrorists have set a "time frame" within which the ransom must be produced, or else the bombs will blow. All agencies across different countries are included in this high-stakes operation.

The story is filled with numerous twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat. I found myself constantly guessing until the very end who the mysterious "Wolf" could be. The tension builds with each passing chapter, as Alex Cross races against time to solve the case and prevent a catastrophic event.

Will he be able to identify the "Wolf" and stop the terrorists in time? Only by reading until the end will you find out. This latest installment in the Alex Cross series is sure to satisfy fans of the thriller genre and leave them eagerly anticipating the next adventure.

Book 10 in the Alex Cross series

This particular installment of the Alex Cross series really doesn't have a great deal to recommend it. Generally speaking, I typically find the Alex Cross books to be, at best, a three-star read. However, on this occasion, two stars will have to do. The plot is rather outlandish. A mastermind criminal, known as The Wolf, is wreaking havoc on some of Europe's major cities, holding the lives of its citizens hostage for a preposterous amount of money. It reads more like a James Bond plot, but without the charming and witty panache that Mr. Bond brings. The Wolf has the world in his clutches, and the only person with any hope of stopping this madman is Alex Cross. Alex spends a significant portion of the book dashing around Europe, achieving very little. The intelligence that is gathered often leads to dead ends. When good intelligence does surface, it seems to happen almost by chance, with no real lead-in. It just occurs, and usually it happens despite, rather than because of, Alex Cross. As for the ending, it was so contrived that it bordered on the absurd. For me, this feels as if James Patterson was writing under a tight deadline, running out of time, and had to come up with something quickly, and this was the best he could manage. It's simply not to my taste. Two stars is the highest rating I can give it.

This was a great addition to the series. There was an abundance of action throughout the book, which kept me on the edge of my seat. However, for some reason, I had higher expectations considering the presence of both the weasel and the wolf in one book. I thought there would be more depth and complexity to their interactions and the overall plot.

Despite my initial expectations, the ending of the book was truly crazy and added a whole new level of excitement to the story. It was a real page-turner and brought the rating of the book from 3.5 stars to a solid 4 stars. I was really impressed with how the author managed to wrap up the story in such an action-packed and satisfying way.

I'm still loving this series and can't wait to move on to the next book, Mary, Mary. It's been a quick and entertaining afternoon read, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else this series has in store for me.

James Patterson/Alex Cross has truly outdone themselves time and time again!!!

It is absolutely awesome beyond words!!! The story had me completely on the edge of my toes, unable to put the book down for a single moment.

With each turn of the page, there were more surprises and twists that left me in awe.

It's not just a book; it's an experience that keeps you engaged from start to finish.

Wow and more wow, I can't express enough how much I loved this latest installment in the series.

James Patterson continues to prove why he is one of the greatest thriller writers of our time, and Alex Cross remains an iconic and unforgettable character.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery and a heart-pounding adventure.

You won't be disappointed!!!

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others in the series.

It was still good, but it felt so scattered. The plot centered around The Wolf's attempt to destroy the world in order to get money.

Blowing up a full town would have been enough, but there were all these other murders as well.

It seemed a bit excessive and made the story lose some of its focus.

However, the writing was still engaging, and I was able to follow along easily.

The characters were well-developed, and I found myself rooting for them despite the chaos and destruction.

Overall, while it wasn't my favorite in the series, it was still an enjoyable read that kept me entertained from start to finish.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the author has in store for us in the next installment.
