London Bridges is the tenth book in the Alex Cross series. It is more or less a continuation of the previous book in this series called Big Bad Wolf.
The story begins with a group of terrorists who intend to unleash terror among the people. The leader of this group of terrorists is codenamed Wolf, which means a wolf.
At dawn or sunrise, Wolf's first action is to carry out his attacks. He then threatens some of the major cities of the countries with terrorist attacks and nuclear bomb explosions, and demands from the governments in return for not carrying out these attacks.
These attacks demand approximately two billion dollars from the threatened countries. The governments show no reaction to Wolf's demands, and this is where the first bridge in New York City is attacked, and then London and France.
Although the book was very engaging at the beginning, towards the end the story becomes a bit more complicated and did not meet my expectations as much. I must say that Wolf is identified on the last page of the book and commits suicide by poisoning himself without Alex Cross interrogating him. I think Alex Cross has failed to some extent.
