Excellent plot and a real page-turner - what a villain !! The story unfolds with a captivating plot that keeps the reader on the edge of their seat from start to finish. Each turn of the page reveals new twists and turns, making it impossible to put the book down. The villain in this story is truly remarkable. Their actions and motives are so well-developed that they become a central and engaging character. The author has done an excellent job of creating a sense of tension and suspense, as the reader wonders what the villain will do next. The villain's complexity and depth add an extra layer of intrigue to the story, making it a truly unforgettable read.
I simply cannot put into words just how much I loathed this book. It was completely uninteresting from start to finish. The main character failed to capture my attention or evoke any sense of appeal. Moreover, the writing was truly abysmal. The story ended on a cliffhanger, but quite frankly, I couldn't care less about obtaining the next book to discover the conclusion of the tale. This happens to be the very first James Patterson book that I have read, and it will most definitely be the last.
