This is the second book in the Celestine Prophecy series. After delving into the first one, which was filled with numerous spiritual teachings on how we can evolve into a more thoughtful and interconnected human culture, this sequel proved to be more difficult to follow.

In general, the author is neither the most adept storyteller nor a remarkable writer. In this particular book, these writing weaknesses are precisely what make it challenging to grasp the key lessons. Nevertheless, his insights on spirituality and our purpose as human beings remain quite fascinating and offer food for thought on how we can indeed have a path that focuses on enhancing our human development in a collective manner.

The story in this book underwent a significant shift from the first one. Now, the protagonist is no longer in Peru and has left behind all the characters from the first book, except for Will and Charlene. In fact, the book commences with him attempting to locate Charlene in a national forest in the Appalachian valley. Incorporating the recurring element of paying attention to signs that will guide you along your purposeful path, this story introduced more afterlife concepts, such as what occurs as we transition from one life to the next and how our past lives impact our current ones. The theories are quite interesting, and it is beneficial to read it with others to discuss which elements are thought-provoking and applicable to our present lives.

Once again, this book concludes on a cliffhanger, so I may just have to persevere to see how this series unfolds. I simply wish the author were a more accomplished writer.

I recently came across an extremely interesting book that is filled with profound spiritual knowledge.

It delves into various aspects such as our birth vision and earth vision. One of the most fascinating concepts is about soul groups. We re-incarnate with the same family and friends over and over again, but in different roles. For instance, in this lifetime, I might be someone's daughter, but in the next, I could be my mother's mother, and she would be my daughter.

The book also explores the significance of animals. They are said to represent a part of ourselves, and each animal has different meanings when we encounter them. For example, seeing a hare indicates that it is pointing out a direction for you, either emotionally or physically. Crows are considered the holders of the laws of spirit, and they enhance our perceptions of the spiritual reality. Hawks, on the other hand, are alert and observant. Their presence implies that it is crucial at that moment to increase our alertness and pay attention to the subtle signs around us.

This book truly offers a unique and captivating perspective on the spiritual world, leaving the reader with a sense of wonder and a desire to explore further.

The Tenth Insight by James Redfield

I have been grappling with the task of finishing this book for quite some time. Today, I finally pushed myself to get it done and off my list. This book was recommended by one of my coaches, but I'm not entirely sure why.

It belongs to that category of 'story as a metaphor' works that aim to convey a higher meaning of some sort. Apparently, it is the sequel to a previously successful book called The Celestine Prophecy. That previous story was about the discovery of lost insights.

This book continues the adventures in the search for the 10th insight, with the previous 9 already presented in the earlier book.

Throughout reading, I felt as if I was trapped in a 70's sitcom centered around group therapy. The story that was supposed to enclose the precious nuggets of insight seemed completely fabricated and mechanical.

When we finally reached the point of the big reveal after all the running around in the forest, there were a couple of pages filled with thought-provoking thought bubbles.

Basically, the main insight is that we are all interconnected, and if only we could sense the unifying spiritual vibes, we could solve all problems.

People don't merely live and die in this dimension or physical existence. There is another dimension or 'afterlife' that is part of a continuum. We enter this world with a birth vision as spiritual beings, but then we forget and repeat the same mistakes.

However, the good news is that over the course of human (and universal) history (and future), we are evolving not only physically but also spiritually. Just as tribes evolved into city states and then into nations, our spiritual natures will also converge towards a common goal. But this will only happen if we pray fervently and maintain positive thoughts.

Because the world is divided between those who are spiritually moving towards this grand unification of spirits and those who are held back by fear.

Overall, it didn't seem like much of a reward for having to endure the B-movie script. It might have made a better episode of The A-Team or perhaps Love Boat.

And to add insult to injury, at the end, he hints at a sequel. Hey, maybe a miniseries on the Lifetime Network with Queen Latifa as God and Betty White as the concerned scientist...

Finally, I also finished reading the second serial of "The Celestine Prophecy", which is about the search for the Tenth Insight. This book contains too much philosophy, rather than the bustling action scenes that were emphasized in the first book. But don't worry, at the end of the story, the red thread appears again and the story returns to its path.

"And once we begin to understand the Tenth Insight, then we can see the process of birth from the perspective of the Invisible Realm, and we realize that we are all here to bring the worldly dimension into equivalence with the spiritual realm. In addition, opportunity and success are very mysterious processes, and if we conduct our economic life within the flow of the overall plan, then synchronously we will meet other people who are also doing the same thing, and suddenly that abundance opens up for us." - Page 285 -

It broadens the mind and enriches the reading experience.

The author has done a remarkable job in seamlessly integrating these elements, creating a world that is both captivating and thought-provoking.

If you didn't like this book, it's important to examine whether your ego is overly inflated or what aspects of yourself you might be trying to avoid.

The Celestine Prophecy is truly my all-time favorite book. I highly recommend it to many people, as I truly desire the best for those I introduce it to. The friends I know who had an awakening during their encounter with the first 9 insights will surely benefit greatly from this book.

It requires reading the entire book to fully grasp the significance of the author's little stories and the constant flashbacks of Life Review. History has not been kind to the author and his soul group until they learn to perceive the enemy as their own divine reflection.

The message is clear: Hold the Vision. So many of us tend to lose this and end up feeling empty. You have witnessed the insights being put into practice here before. Now, it's time to fill up your cup.

Some tips I gleaned from this book include following the synchronicities, listening attentively to the animals, and actively using the insights. Above all, be fearless in your pursuit of truth and self-discovery.

A very insightful (no pun intended) book.

The Tenth Insight is an extremely complex work as it encompasses several different aspects simultaneously.

It involves the recognition of more than just the physical (Earthly) dimension, similar to the second insight. It also requires remembering who one is through one's birth vision, which begs the question: what is your mission on Earth? Additionally, it examines whether one is focused and disciplined enough to fulfill their birth vision and bring it to fruition.

Furthermore, in remembering one's birth vision, one realizes that they also have a birth group, consisting of spirit (ancestral) guides who share the same birth vision.

One must also be mindful that every life form provides either an insight into what one is to do at a particular time to either add to the birth vision or offers clues as to what one is to do next in their own birth vision journey.

Finally, it is important to recognize that one integrates with several other people who they may have interacted with in previous lives. Each of these people, remembering their own birth visions and having their own spirit groups, integrate with you, and together bring everyone else into awareness of their own birth vision and the resulting common World Vision. This World Vision aims to remember, connect to, and integrate the physical (Earth) plane with the spiritual (Afterlife) plane, recognizing that we are all truly part of the divine.

Yes, it is a lot to take in, but it is told in a very compelling story format. The story unfolds as coincidental, which is a reminder of the first insight from the previous book. The lesson here is that we need to become aware of those coincidences and understand their meaning and the purposes they are meant to fulfill.

I had a really hard time not comparing this to The Celestine Prophecy #1.

However, upon closer inspection, it simply doesn't hold up.

It's quite evident that the first installment was filled with pure passion and authenticity. In contrast, this second one (and likely the rest that follow) seems to be nothing more than a blatant cash grab by the publisher.

The lack of genuine substance and the obvious attempt to milk the franchise for financial gain are truly disappointing.

As a result, I have to give this a hard pass.

I expected more from a series that initially showed such promise.

It's a shame to see it devolve into what appears to be a commercialized mess.

Hopefully, future installments will learn from this and return to the spirit that made the first one so engaging.

But for now, I'll be looking elsewhere for my reading entertainment.

We are all souls in a continuous process of growth.

Deep within each of us, there lies an original intention that is inherently positive.

Moreover, we have the ability to remember this intention.

Our responsibility is to firmly hold onto that positive idea for every single person we encounter in our lives.

This is the true essence of the Interpersonal Ethic.

It is through this ethic that we uplift one another and spread the contagion of a new awareness that is gradually encircling the entire planet.

We are faced with two choices.

Either we can succumb to the fear that human culture is disintegrating, or we can hold onto the Vision that we are in the process of awakening.

Whichever path we choose, our expectation becomes a powerful prayer that goes out into the universe as a force that has the potential to bring about the very end we envision.

Each and every one of us must make a conscious decision between these two vastly different futures.

It is up to us to determine the course of our collective journey.

The book had so many slow parts, which really tested my patience.

Particularly, the last 50 pages seemed to drag on forever. It felt like the story was just meandering without a clear direction.

However, despite these drawbacks, I have to admit that the book was very insightful. It presented many profound ideas and perspectives that made me think deeply.

In fact, I found it so thought-provoking that I believe it is worth rereading.

The next time I read it, I'll likely try and listen to it on audio. I think this will give me a different perspective and perhaps help me to better understand the nuances of the story.

Overall, although the book had its flaws, it has given me lots to consider and has left a lasting impression on me.

Insightful

This book, while not quite reaching the same level as the Celestine Prophecy in terms of readability, still has its merits. It gives the impression of being a bit rushed, with the narrative sometimes feeling a bit disjointed and all over the place. However, it is by no means a bad read. In fact, it contains many ideals that are highly applicable to our everyday lives in the physical realm. These ideals can offer valuable guidance and inspiration, helping us to navigate the challenges and opportunities that come our way. Despite its flaws, the book has the potential to make a positive impact on the reader's perspective and approach to life.

I was truly well-prepared for this book. Previously, I had read The Celestine Prophecy not just once, but twice at different times. This new book was an outstanding expansion of the previous insights. What's more importantly, it effectively reinforced and unified various personal viewpoints. The use of a story to illustrate these crucial concepts worked extremely well for me. As I find that it really clarifies things when I can "see" them in action. I truly enjoyed this book very much. And now, I am off to read the next one. So, I am embarking on a journey to Shambhala. I am excited to see what new adventures and learnings await me in this next installment. I have a feeling that it will be just as engaging and thought-provoking as this one.
