I don't even oppose the writer's feelings; I just can't regard this seriously as a work of literature. I'm unable to envision why this is still assigned to students or why it's even still in circulation at the library.

However, to my dismay, my group of Disneyphiles, those who are extremely passionate about Disney, seem to hate both the book and me for teaching it.

I can't quite understand their intense dislike. Maybe they are so fixated on all things Disney that they are resistant to anything that doesn't involve their beloved Disney characters and stories. But I firmly believe in the importance of exposing them to a diverse range of literature. This book offers a different perspective and can expand their literary horizons.
