A simple, brief, and intense work that serves as an advocate for empathy. As always, Buero Vallejo presents us with a cast of human and imperfect characters. In this case, the action takes place in a school for the blind as a setting to express their concerns and social and existential sufferings. He poses, in a clearly moralistic style, two tenacious and obstinate postures, the romanticized optimism versus the nihilistic resignation. Also, as always, he shows us without cover, naked, the complexity of our problems, having the humility and courage not to sell us any solution. It is, above all, a theater of questions.

This work by Buero Vallejo is a powerful exploration of the human condition. The choice of a school for the blind as the setting adds an extra layer of depth and poignancy to the story. The characters, with their flaws and struggles, become relatable and serve as a mirror to our own lives. The moralistic style in which the author presents the two opposing postures forces us to reflect on our own attitudes towards life and suffering. By not offering a simple solution, Buero Vallejo challenges us to grapple with the complexity of our problems and find our own answers. Overall, this is a thought-provoking and engaging work that leaves a lasting impression.

The rating of 3.75* indicates that this work is highly regarded and has received positive feedback from readers and critics alike. It is a must-read for anyone interested in exploring the themes of empathy, suffering, and the human condition through the medium of theater.

"Que rabia el Nacho" is a Spanish expression that can be translated to "How angry Nacho is." This simple phrase can evoke a vivid image in the mind.

Perhaps Nacho is fuming with rage over a recent incident. Maybe someone has wronged him, or he has faced a frustrating situation. The anger he feels could be palpable, like a storm cloud ready to burst.

We can imagine Nacho's face turning red, his fists clenched, and his teeth gritted. His eyes might be filled with fire, and he could be breathing heavily. The anger within him might be so intense that it is difficult for him to contain.

But what will Nacho do with his anger? Will he lash out and cause a scene, or will he find a way to calm himself down and deal with the situation rationally? Only time will tell.

Overall, "Que rabia el Nacho" is a powerful expression that can convey a great deal of emotion and drama.

Although blindness was initially a good metaphor to represent the intentions of Buero Vallejo, I believe he did not develop it in the most appropriate way. In my mind, if I ignore what he wanted to say and draw my own conclusions, it makes more sense.

I agree with the popular opinion that I liked Historia de una escalera much more. It seemed more accurate and progressive to me. Even so, this little book has had its moments.

I don't need a girlfriend. I need a "I love you" said with all my soul! "I love you with all your sadness and your anguish; to suffer with you, and not to take you to any false kingdom of happiness."
This quote really stood out to me. It shows the depth of the character's emotions and his true understanding of love. It's not about finding someone to make you happy all the time, but rather being there for someone through their pain and sadness as well. This is a powerful message that I think many people can relate to.

Overall, while I may not have loved this book as much as some others, it still had some interesting ideas and moments that made it worth reading.

A play is set in a school for the blind in Madrid during Franco's dictatorship.

This play serves as a powerful parable for the numerous limits and restrictions that were imposed on the Spanish people under his rule.

The people in that time could only see what they were shown and were allowed to say only what they were permitted to express.

Civil wars are, without a doubt, always messy affairs.

It is only very recently that there has been an attempt to confront the abuses that took place during that era.

The play thus provides a poignant reminder of the difficult times that the Spanish people endured and the long journey they have had to take to come to terms with their past.

It also serves as a call to action for us to learn from history and ensure that such injustices are never repeated.

Yo os voy a traer guerra y no paz”.

In art and literature, brillante can be used to describe a work that is filled with vivid colors, powerful imagery, and engaging storytelling. It makes the reader or viewer feel as if they are experiencing something truly extraordinary.

Overall, brillante is a word that conveys a sense of excellence and distinction. It is a word that makes us stop and take notice, and it reminds us of the beauty and wonder that exists in the world around us.

Releída.

I adore the symbolism of blindness, transporting the Center to the social reality of the era and more. It is his first work, and in "La Fundación" one can notice all the influence of this very work. One could extrapolate a social critique and even consider "La Fundación" a logical sequel, more tragic and dramatic than what this work is.

Moreover, it must have been a delight to see this represented... there is a passage that combines a powerful speech with some theatrical effects that must have left you open-mouthed. The work is super current, 10/10, and with a reflective ending like in the rest of his works.

This piece truly showcases the author's talent and ability to create a thought-provoking and engaging story. The use of blindness as a symbol adds depth and complexity to the narrative, making it a must-read for those interested in exploring social themes through literature.

The theatrical elements also enhance the overall experience, making it feel like a live performance. The ending, in particular, leaves the reader with much to think about and reflects on the broader issues presented throughout the work.

Overall, this is a remarkable piece of literature that deserves to be widely read and appreciated.

Pero yo estoy ardiendo por dentro;
