In a world where each of us spends our time at work and can't find time for our personal cleanliness, it is natural that our understanding and perception of things are manipulated. This is done through the media tools that have been crafted to lead us, the sheep who make up 80% of society, to serve the 20% of those in power, wealth, and strength.

The truth of what is happening behind the scenes and what has happened in this book!!

We often don't realize how much the media influences our thoughts and opinions. It presents information in a certain way, shaping our view of the world. We are constantly bombarded with messages that may not be entirely accurate or objective.

It is important for us to be critical thinkers and question what we see and hear. We need to look beyond the surface and try to understand the real motives and interests behind the media's presentations. Only by doing so can we hope to have a more accurate understanding of the world around us and make informed decisions.

After finishing reading the book, I remembered a saying of one of them.... If there was no air except in the United States of America, I would have preferred death by suffocation rather than going there!!

The history is filled with disasters and the absence of principles and humanity.

Who can calculate from now when this nightmare will end and we see every day a country falling prey to these illusions... of domination, control, and exploitation of nations!!

We are now living one of these interventions in Egypt and no one wants to understand or absorb the lesson.... How long will we remain on the side of reaction and not action!!

Wake up, people.

The book discusses the policies of the United States as a country with interests that it tries to achieve no matter what the cost.

Far from the chaos of the orders that prevail in our Arab world regarding American policies, it reveals the true American reality, far from the spectacle of democracy that they try to sell us.

The interests are the language of conversation there, even if it is an interest that is not in the interest of the American people.

What do they care about the death of tens of thousands of soldiers in order to control Vietnam or Iraq? The important thing is the interest of the businessmen and corporations, which has become since World War II the general interest.

The amount of details in the book made me feel the information overload and made me feel extremely ignorant about the crimes of the United States in the countries of the world, all of which are typical in its attempt to control the world, which in turn means controlling its interests.

True democracy means the great crime, and even if we were in a poor country, democracy means reform, and reform in turn means progress. In this small country, progress means that the rich feel the impossibility of advancement, and thus it loses its control.

As for Tomskey's description of the situation in America, it is very similar to our Arab situation. There are large propaganda campaigns that make the people always feel that there is an enemy in front of them that cannot be described and is waiting for them.

And it encourages them with the joke of the operations that our wise leaders do, whatever they do, they cannot stop it. The first feels weak and the power and toughness is in their hands, and they are able to eliminate this non-real enemy, of course.

And when the people are in a state of blissful sleep that consists of food, drink and the like, and they live in their daily lives in which they only seek wealth and feel comfortable with it, these brothers have controlled.

Finally, I was very impressed by Tomskey's acceptance of the other and his insistence on exposing the corruption of the American government, his compassion and his call to work to help the countries of the Third World that have been wronged, oppressed and tortured by American policies. Truly, humanity and courage have no religion or nationality.

What do you do when you encounter a virus? Firstly, you need to eliminate it, and then inoculate potential victims to prevent the spread of the disease. This is essentially the US strategy in the Third World. If possible, it is advisable to have the local military handle the virus destruction for you. If they are unable to do so, you have to dispatch your own forces.

The prime enemy is the Third World, which is seen as a threat of getting "out of control." The weaker and poorer a country is, the more dangerous it is regarded as an example.

For the first time in human history, we are confronted with the problem of protecting an environment that can support a decent human existence. We are unsure whether honest and dedicated efforts will be sufficient to solve or even alleviate such problems. However, we can be quite certain that the lack of such efforts will lead to disaster.

These aspects of the doctrinal system serve to distract the uneducated masses and strengthen the basic social values: passivity, submission to authority, the supreme virtue of greed and personal gain, lack of concern for others, fear of real or imagined enemies, and so on. The aim is to keep "the bewildered herd" in a state of confusion. It is unnecessary for them to bother about what is happening in the world. In fact, it is undesirable - if they see too much of the reality, they may attempt to change it.

The planners' fundamental goals were to prevent such "ultranationalist" regimes from ever coming to power - or if, by some chance, they did gain power, to remove them and install governments that favor private investment of domestic and foreign capital, focus on production for export, and have the right to bring profits out of the country.

The US desires "stability," which means security for the "upper classes and large foreign enterprises." George Shultz, the former Secretary of State, referred to the Sandinistas as a "cancer, right here on our land mass," that must be eradicated.

We didn't contribute a penny for that, because if we had, it would likely have gone to the people, rather than just into the pockets of some wealthy thug.

The disappearance of the Soviet Union is a minor victory for socialism, similar to the defeat of the fascist powers.

Tolstoy's writing is quite brief in this regard as he jumps from one region to another and one era to another. Therefore, his ideas seem to be only for the laws in general without justification, explanation, or even a sufficient account of the historical context. So there is no complete presentation of viewpoints. However, he is useful and stimulating for looking and thinking more widely and deeply than what we hear and see.

I have read Tolstoy before and will read more of him, but some of his books may be used by Russia and China as tools for dusting the face of the West, and they are by no means better than him but worse and more.

This is the only thing taken from the book.

In this concise breakdown of America's unpretty recent past, Chomsky masterfully connects the dots between various atrocities that have occurred since Vietnam.

He depicts these events as nodes in a complex web of US domination, painting a vivid and often disturbing picture.

The overall effect of his analysis is truly mind-bending, capable of eliciting a range of emotions from fury to enlightenment.

Thankfully, bless his insurrectionist heart, Chomsky doesn't leave us wallowing in despair.

In three distinct sections titled "Things have changed," "What you can do," and "The struggle continues," he concludes on a hopeful and practical note.

He offers insights into the ways in which society has evolved and encourages readers to take an active role in effecting positive change.

Chomsky's work serves as a powerful reminder that, despite the darkness of the past, there is always hope for a better future if we are willing to engage in the struggle.

His words inspire us to question the status quo, to challenge the forces of domination, and to work towards a more just and equitable world.

What does Mr. Sam want? A book in two volumes by a political science and strategy author.

Noam Chomsky poses a question and answers it regarding the main goals of American foreign policy. And bypassing the idea...

To have hegemony over the world, the goal must be to "dominate the great region."

And lay out plans for a post-World War II world. The important details in expanding American influence are as follows: Supporting Japan to control East Asia. And also supporting Germany to control Western Europe. What are considered American client states are American possessions, as it supported all the repressive military dictatorships and corrupt governments in leading these countries to control the capabilities of their peoples.

In what it has dominated the energy sources in the Middle East.

This is what Mr. Sam wants, hegemony and control over the world after World War II.

Though this is quite a brief book, Chomsky accomplishes more with about a hundred pages here than he does in such longer works as Hegemony or Survival.

In this pocket-sized edition, the great man meticulously picks apart the media propaganda and clearly outlines a rational view of several crucial aspects. He delves into the Reaganite atrocities in Latin America, exposing the true nature of those actions. He also tackles the hypocritical and deadly war on drugs, revealing the hidden agendas and consequences. Additionally, he debunks the illusion of the Cold War and examines the hegemony of the mainstream media. As usual, Chomsky's prose is straightforward and no-frills, yet it is rife with bitter sarcasm. However, it's important to note that Chomsky doesn't really care if his book is literary in the traditional sense. As long as it's relevant and well-researched, which it most certainly is, he is satisfied. One thing that I found particularly interesting was that after presenting the incredibly dire situation of American neo-liberal politics, the section titled "what you can do" is only about a page and a half long. It doesn't leave the reader with much hope, but perhaps Chomsky intended to illustrate just how desperate our situation really is.

But if this book shows anything, it's that his bitterness and repeated use of words like Fascist are indeed more than justified in the face of what he perceives as a Fascist American government. This slim volume is probably the best introduction to Noam Chomsky and to modern leftism in general, providing readers with a concise yet powerful overview of his ideas and critiques.

Chomsky presents a highly sobering account of American policies regarding the war on terror. Just as in his other works, he supports every assertion with reliable sources, enabling you to verify them independently. Frankly, I truly hope that more Americans would peruse this rather than listening to the worn-out platitudes spewed by politicians and the media. Undoubtedly, this book will likely offend a great many people as it reveals our unsightly aspects. It is essential to have an objective and in-depth understanding of these policies, and Chomsky's work provides a valuable perspective. By reading this book, we can gain a better understanding of the true nature of the war on terror and the implications it has for our society and the world at large.

The United States is a country that has continuously violated the rights of people and intervened in the affairs of other countries, causing great harm. There are various means to achieve this. It may assist corrupt governments, carry out military coups, buy votes in elections, instigate neighboring countries to create problems or start wars, impose economic blockades, launch media campaigns, and use the US military.

There are also repeated plans. First, impose an economic blockade, then launch a media war. Send false aid and fill TV screens with the so-called "generous" aid to exaggerate it. Exploit and instigate the internal opposition to overthrow the government. If all these do not succeed, then incite disputes and problems through neighboring countries until a war breaks out.

If all of the above still fails, then the United States may have to use sudden military terrorism, whether it succeeds in creating an excuse or not.

This behavior of the United States not only undermines the sovereignty and interests of other countries but also brings instability and chaos to the international community. It is time for the international community to take effective measures to restrain the United States and maintain world peace and stability.

The evil Sam desires to control the world.... Unfortunately, this book remains valid for reading and understanding American foreign policy in its light even after more than twenty years since its publication.

Sam's ambition is truly terrifying. His lust for power knows no bounds. It is a sad state of affairs that even after all these years, the insights and analysis presented in this book still hold great significance. It serves as a reminder of the complex and often devious nature of American foreign policy. The events that have unfolded since the book's release only seem to reinforce its relevance. We must continue to study and understand these issues to better navigate the ever-changing global landscape.

Perhaps it is time for a new generation to pick up this book and gain a deeper understanding of the forces at play in the world. Only by being informed can we hope to make a positive difference and work towards a more peaceful and just future.

The book consists of 63 characteristics of Noam Chomsky.

And the rest of the book is commentary from the translator, Adel the teacher.

The author explains in this book the main goals of American foreign policy, which is how to enslave the countries of the world, making them a submissive source of raw materials and then an open market for American goods, and this is done in alliance with the corrupt dictatorships in those countries, suppressing the peoples by all possible and available means, which leads to the killing of millions of indigenous people by the hands of corrupt people in the country or by direct interference if necessary.

This is a policy of interests and nothing else. If your interests lead you, you will ally with the devil himself for the sake of your interests, and you will kill, steal, and rob others for the sake of interests.

The author gives examples of this in the destruction of El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, the invasion of Panama, the Gulf War, Vietnam, Cambodia, and others.

A long series of bloodshed and violations of people's rights, both openly and secretly. The author also shows the complicity and evasion of the American media in reporting even one piece of news about those events and atrocities. And the author does not overlook the role of the World Bank as a means of impoverishing the peoples and increasing

the subjugation of their countries.

Great courage from the author in discussing those issues that could have filled dozens of books.

The book was published in the nineties, that is, more than twenty years ago, and the policy still affects all of us with confusion.
