Feature of the book in this recent time.
It gathers a lot of scattered ideas in one place.
It is recommended in it.
The translator sometimes carried out the reading process without taste. I regretted what I read in English.
But it remains a 5-star book.
An in-depth and insightful examination of America's foreign policy over the past 50 years reveals some disturbing trends. The United States has supported some of the most heinous rulers of the 20th century, turning a blind eye to acts of murder, racism, and repression as long as it served the interests of big business. At the same time, it has branded the actions of those who refuse to obey as terrorism, while conveniently ignoring the equally repugnant actions of America and its clients, such as Israel and Colombia.
One particularly egregious example is when the Reagan administration referred to the ANC as one of the world's "more notorious terrorist groups." This shows the blatant double standards in America's foreign policy. In the face of changing economic and demographic realities, the U.S. ruling elite has chosen to pursue a policy of maintaining their current world hegemony. This has led to an increase in the risk of WMD proliferation, as they refuse to ban the militarization of space or the production of biological weapons.
Hopefully, the choices made by the U.S. government will not have catastrophic consequences for the entire world. It is essential that there is greater transparency and accountability in America's foreign policy to ensure that the interests of the global community are taken into account.
The premise of this book is quite interesting, and I personally tend to agree with it. However, there are several aspects that I find rather disappointing. Firstly, the author uses an excessive number of big words, which makes the text seem overly complicated and difficult to understand. Secondly, the writing is too long-winded, with many paragraphs that could have been condensed without losing the essence of the argument. Thirdly, the footnotes are poorly done, which makes a significant portion of the content seem questionable.
America's treatment of the rest of the world as a lower class is indeed a concerning issue. The hypocrisy that exists in order to maintain the balance of power in the US is truly astonishing. It is inevitable that there will eventually be a mass uprising as people around the world become increasingly aware of this unjust treatment.
The first war on terror in the 1980s was a significant event that brought about extensive destruction. The oppressed made failed attempts to drive America out of their country and put an end to the killing. America held a tight grip on the UN, which was a concerning situation. It is evident that America is full of double standards, both philosophically and within the UN, where the rules seem not to apply to it. This is a truly sad state of affairs. When a person or entity loudly proclaims one thing while doing the opposite in secret, it begs the question of how long this can last. Interestingly, the same individuals responsible for the horrible actions in the 1980s, such as Rumsfeld and Cheney, are also involved in our current mess. Although this may not come as a surprise, it is still a cause for concern. We should take a closer look at these issues and strive for a more just and equitable world.
