I'm not sure if it was due to my mood at that moment or some other factor, but I simply couldn't get into this book.

I usually give a book a chance until page 75, but this one seemed a bit "long-winded" to me.

I thought I would enjoy it because I work with autistic children, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

Perhaps the writing style didn't resonate with me, or maybe the story didn't develop in a way that held my interest.

Whatever the reason, I found myself struggling to stay engaged as I read through the pages.

It's always disappointing when you have high expectations for a book and it doesn't live up to them.

However, I know that everyone has different tastes in literature, and what doesn't work for me might be a great read for someone else.

Maybe I'll give this book another try at a later time, or perhaps I'll move on to something else in the hopes of finding a story that truly captivates me.

Interesting book! It is captivating not only because of its subject matter but also due to the author's unique writing style. The author was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4 and was enrolled in a school for children with autism. Twenty years later, he reconnects with 3 former classmates and his teacher. At first, I was annoyed by some of the detours his story seemed to take. However, as I delved deeper, I realized that it all stems from his need for coherence. This book is an informative read for those who do not have a family member or close friend with autism. It provides valuable insights into the world of autism. However, I don't think a parent of a child with autism will learn anything truly new or insightful from the stories. They may already be familiar with many of the experiences and challenges described in the book.

This is the best book I have ever read.

It is not only educational but also historical.

The story so far is about an autistic guy who decides to visit his old elementary classmates.

However, he quickly finds himself getting into a whole bundle of trouble.

As he reunites with his former classmates, he faces various challenges and misunderstandings due to his autism.

The author does an excellent job of portraying the autistic character's perspective and the difficulties he encounters in social situations.

Despite the troubles, the story also has moments of heartwarming friendship and self-discovery.

It makes the reader think about the importance of acceptance and understanding for people with different abilities.

I can't wait to see what else happens in the book as the autistic guy continues his journey.

Overall, it's a captivating and thought-provoking read that I highly recommend.

Autism is a complex and often misunderstood disorder. This book delves into the lives of four individuals with autism, who happen to be the author's childhood classmates. After being apart for many years, the author tracks them down and shares their stories.

I had the opportunity to read the first two chapters before passing the book on to a friend whose younger brother is autistic. The stories in those initial chapters were both heartwarming and eye-opening.

It made me realize the unique challenges and experiences that individuals with autism face on a daily basis. I look forward to reading the rest of the book one day to gain a deeper understanding of their lives and the impact of autism on their families and communities.

The author's approach of using personal stories to shed light on autism is a powerful one. It humanizes the disorder and helps to break down the barriers of misunderstanding and stigma.

I believe that this book has the potential to make a significant contribution to the field of autism research and awareness.
