When it comes to sizzling hot romance coupled with outrageous hilarity, nobody delivers like Erin McCarthy. Now she's back with a delicious story where nothing's on the level, everybody's got something to hide, and the only thing honest is the slow, hard pull of irresistible attraction...

Love. Sex. Destiny. And A Six-Foot-Four Psychic In A Bridesmaid’s Dress? Honey, You Don’t Know Jack...

Jamie Peters no longer believes in true love. True idiots, true scumbags, true moochers - these she believes in wholeheartedly, and she’s got the checkered dating history to prove it. So she’s more than a little skeptical when her cross-dressing psychic tells her she’s about to meet her soul mate - during an accident. Yeah, sounds about right. And then it happens. A knight in shining armor steps between her and a mugger on a subway platform. Just a regular, honest, upright Jack. The kind they don’t make anymore...

Jonathon Davidson doesn't believe in destiny - or lying to beautiful women as a rule. But now that Jamie thinks he’s just an ordinary guy, how can he possibly tell her that he’s really, (A) her roommate’s brother, (B) a millionaire to boot, and (C) the jerk who’s investigating her application to his grandfather’s charitable trust because she may be involved in something illegal? Yeah, rhetorical question. He can’t. Not until he knows what’s going on. Besides, it would require being able to resist Jamie’s luscious curves long enough to say, “Hi, my name is Big Liar. Let’s get naked.” Sometimes, destiny sucks...

Somewhere between truth and flat-out-let’s-talk-about-this-waaay-later fiction, between fate and delicious accidental insanity, lies a whole lot of mind-blowing sex, delirious passion, unfortunate sundresses, fighting, deception, big mistakes and small hopes, and two people are about to discover that everything happens for a reason...

One word that could describe this book is... HOT!

This is definitely not for the "young adult" category, as it vividly describes intimate scenes. It may not be profound or filled with surprising twists and turns. However, it was quite enjoyable and definitely falls under the category of guilty pleasure!

If I may say so myself, it's like a dark chocolate of contemporary novels.

There are only two books in this series, and it's a bit saddening to learn that the other two books haven't been written due to the author's change in publishers. Here's what she mentioned about it on her website:

\n  \n    Will you write a story for Caroline and Allison from YOU DON’T KNOW JACK and THE PREGNANCY TEST?\n  \n

\n  The short answer is no, not right now. The reason for that is a bit of an explanation, but the original two books were written for one publisher. I now write for another publisher, and due to very complicated legal reasons that make my head spin, the books can't be written right now. Hopefully some day! I had great stories planned for the remaining two NY Girlfriends.\n

It's a real shame. It's quite intriguing to think about what Beckwith, the cross-dressing psychic, will come up with next for the other two NY girlfriends. We all hope she'll eventually get to write those stories.

I have a deep affection for Erin McCarthy. In fact, I likely would have bestowed five stars upon this book had there been a modicum more tension and a slightly more developed plot. However, despite these minor drawbacks, I truly adored the characters. Each one was distinct and engaging, drawing me further into the story.

The dialogue was another aspect that I found highly enjoyable. It was not only fun but also delightfully quirky, adding a unique charm to the narrative. It had a way of making the interactions between the characters feel fresh and lively.

Overall, while the book may not have been perfect in terms of tension and plot development, it still managed to capture my attention and hold my interest through its wonderful characters and engaging dialogue. I would definitely recommend it to fans of Erin McCarthy or those looking for an entertaining read with a touch of quirkiness.

Contemporary romance with protected sex is a genre that has gained significant popularity in recent years.

This particular story is a favorite reread of mine. It belongs to the early works of EM in the romance genre.

The main characters, Jack and Jamie, make a great couple. Jack is almost too good to be true, which is one of the appealing aspects of romance novels. It gives the readers a sense of hope that an average girl like Jamie can attract a handsome, rich, and nice guy like Jack.

The story likely unfolds with their relationship developing, facing various challenges and obstacles along the way. The use of protected sex in the story adds a layer of realism and responsibility.

Overall, it's a delightful read that allows you to escape into a world of love and romance. I highly recommend it to all romance enthusiasts. Enjoy!

The original article seems to be rather brief. It only consists of a few elements such as "Rewrite the article and expand it to 300 words, using English", along with some star ratings and a bolded "3 stars".

To expand it, we could describe the importance of rewriting and expanding an article. For example, it helps to clarify the message, provide more details, and engage the reader better. When using English, it allows for a wider audience to access and understand the content.

The star ratings and the bolded "3 stars" could potentially be used to rate the quality of the rewritten article or the overall task. However, without further context, it's difficult to determine their exact significance.

In conclusion, by rewriting and expanding the article, we can enhance its value and make it more useful and interesting for the readers. The star ratings can add an element of evaluation and feedback, although their meaning should be clearly defined.

I completely concur with the other reviews. There is a certain aspect that I just can't fathom. Why on earth couldn't they be together? It seems rather puzzling.

Moreover, I truly don't understand how they could spend an entire day in bed after merely chatting for a few hours. It was indeed rather steamy, but at the same time, it felt somewhat strange.

Nevertheless, aside from these two points, it was actually a really adorable story. It had its own charm and appeal. The characters were likable, and the overall plot was engaging.

Despite the few elements that left me scratching my head, I still found myself enjoying the story for the most part. It had that certain something that kept me hooked until the very end.

Jack, a millionaire, secretly observes Jamie in every activity. Initially, it is to investigate whether Jamie is involved in the embezzlement of donated funds from the social enterprise where Jamie works. Jack, a former financial analyst, replaces his grandfather to hold the position of leader of the Hathway Foundation. It all starts when Beekwood Social (oh, I forgot its full name) where Jamie works asks for a donation from the Hathway Foundation. From there, Jack discovers that there is an employee at Beckwood who misuses or, more precisely, borrows the donated funds to play the stock market. Jack, who is secretly investigating Jamie, finds himself attracted to Jamie (coincidentally, Jamie is the friend and roommate of Caroline, his sister).

Jamie, who is predicted by her crazy friend, Beckwith (after reading for a long time, I just realized that her friend is a bit nuts :p), that soon in her life, she will meet a man who will change her life to be happy. Jamie, who is so enthusiastic and believes in such things, can't wait to meet him. Here, Beckwith even describes that they will meet on the subway train where the man is carrying food.

So, when Jack follows Jamie to the train and then waits for her inside the train (Jack already knows Jamie's destination train), while carrying a package of pasta for a visit to his grandfather's place. Jamie, who is still standing outside the train door, suddenly receives a call from Beckwith. Beckwith immediately hysterically says, "This is the moment! The man you've been waiting for in your life will soon appear in front of you." Jamie, who is confused, realizes that the train door will soon close and leave. And finally, in a hurry, she gets on and tries to jump through it. She almost hits a big, muscular, tattooed, half-naked man. Jack, who has been sitting inside the train, is already worried that Jamie will miss the train. Seeing that Jamie is about to hit the scary man, Jack immediately intervenes. As a result, the pasta that Jack is carrying is squeezed and spills on his shirt. Jamie apologizes, and from there, their relationship develops.

Jack's liking for Jamie grows because Jamie doesn't judge him based on his thick wallet, and Jamie considers Jack as the man of her destiny. Finally, lie after lie is continuously told by Jack so that Jamie won't hate him. Jack knows that Jamie is indeed a different woman and doesn't like rich men. Especially since Jamie hates Jonathan Davidson (Jack's real name) who has rejected the donation proposal she made.

But don't worry, his lies won't last long, and again, the story is not too thrilling, simple, sweet, and impressive. Oh yes, this book is also a bit sexy. After all, Erin McCarthy's writing is typically like this. But in terms of the story, it's not disappointing.
