Trump: How to Get Rich is a book written by Donald Trump and Meridith McIver. This book has taught me a lot, but most of it was not useful. But the most important thing I learned was how Donald Trump thinks. I was expecting this book to give me more strategic tips on how to get rich. But it was more of an insight on the life of Mr. Trump. He is very full of himself. There is even a chapter of how his hair affects his presence in the media and how it helps him. This taught me more about him and I think it is very useful. It helped me find where I stand politically when it comes to Mr. Trump.
I enjoyed this book very much. I gave this three stars, but not because of the reasons you may think. This book was very interesting because I like to see how Trump thinks of himself. The advice wasn’t very useful, which I was quite disappointed about, but it was interesting. He talks about firing people, hiring people, investing, and much more. This book probably could’ve been shortened a lot though. Overall, I did enjoy this quite a bit. I would recommend this to a friend because of how funny the advice was.
მართალია ნარცისიზმით სავსე წიგნია, მაგრამ ისეთი სირობაც არაა, როგორც ტრამპის ჰეითერები წერენ.

How to Get Rich picks up where the Art of the Deal left off and is an exciting continuation of the Rags to Riches story that the American spirit exemplifies. Including more business advice than The Art of the Deal, How to Get Rich largely explores Trump's beginnings in the Casino industry and you can't help but feel the high stakes at play. No longer a young man, Donald Trump is now an established Real Estate Guru who has the highest reputation to maintain - and he makes it look easy.
Beyond just real estate, this book begins to explore numerous business ventures including the USFL, Miss America Pageants, and the show that took the world by storm: The Apprentice.
This was an interesting book at the beginning. However, at the end it got to just showing a day to day schedule of his life. This is where I really lost interest. That is the part that I can't apply myself because I don't have the same experiences that he has had. If this book had ended before it got into his schedule it would have been a much better book.
Do you like straight from the hip talk? Trump is your man. Wow, you cannot be more straightforward than this man. What I like about this book is that the advice and observations are quick and to the point. No dancing around the basics. Chapters are 3-4 pages at the most. Trump is very direct. I found it easy to return to the book to review a topic at a later time. Trump is a self-promoter, out in front. If he were a general, he would be Patton. I felt it was very entertaining reading. Even if you do not like the man the book has entertainment value. Trump is very intelligent, but I found the book less cerebral and more common sense oriented. Trump is good at promoting himself and is clear that he is promoting himself. He says men are vain and that he likes women. Blam, right out in the open!!! I found him sensitive in between the bravado, he loves his kids and seems civil with his prior wives. He does not dwell on bad times and is focused on lessons learned from his mistakes. I had the impression that he was a "Black and White" decision maker. For the most part he is but he can be amazingly flexible. He prefers action to inaction but is flexible enough to wait for better timing (up to 15 years). This book has lots of great quotes and is easy to read in one sitting. It was a great read for the price. I picked this one up at Barnes and Noble for $5.99 way before he was elected president.
Well, there were some valid points that were raised in this book. I just wished he would've toned it down with his "me, me, me"-talk. It made the book seem like he's trying to sell us something. (pun intended)
The book does feature a lot of anecdotes, some of which should be taken with a grain of salt. Like the part where he talks about how good looking his two secretaries are. A remark that he swiftly follows up with a "you don't have to be beautiful to work for me though". ... Classic Donald Trump. That's all I can say about it.
