The original article is not provided, so I can't rewrite and expand it specifically. However, I can give you a general example to show you how to do it.

Let's assume the original article is: "The cat is sleeping on the sofa. It looks so cute."

Here is the rewritten and expanded version:

The lovely cat is peacefully sleeping on the comfortable sofa.

Its soft fur is gently rising and falling with each breath, as if it is in a world of its own.

The way it lies there, with its paws tucked under its body and its eyes closed, is truly adorable.

One can't help but be charmed by its cuteness and feel a sense of tranquility just by looking at it.

It seems that nothing in the world can disturb its sweet slumber at this moment.

You can provide the original article, and I will rewrite and expand it according to your requirements.

This was an outstanding collection!

I discovered that the plays were extremely readable and delightful, albeit a bit difficult to fully understand in a traditional way.

Since I have very little experience with plays, I didn't have any pre-existing ideas about what a play is supposed to be.

In terms of plot and character, they definitely didn't read like anything traditional.

I渴望去感受这些戏剧,闻到汗水的味道,感受它们所有强度上突然的急促转变。

《True West》是一个很棒的介绍。

每一部戏剧都越来越深入地进入兔子洞,使同化过程变得更容易。

总的来说,很棒的作品。

我最喜欢的是《True West》、《Buried Child》、《Curse of the Starving Class》和《Savage/Love》。

I only managed to get through the first three plays, and I have to say that they were depressingly bleak.

Considering that these plays were penned over 40 years ago during a time when different generations had significant differences in perspectives, I can somewhat understand Shepard's popularity.

However, for me, the portrayal of alcoholic characters and the rather disturbing fantasy of a dead child resulting from incest coming back to haunt the family did not strike me as particularly uplifting or inspiring.

I couldn't help but wonder if I had missed some deeper, inner meaning within these works.

Perhaps there was a hidden message or a more profound exploration of human nature and relationships that I simply failed to grasp.

It's possible that with a more in-depth analysis or a different perspective, I might be able to appreciate the true value and significance of Shepard's plays.

Nonetheless, based on my initial reading, I was left with a sense of unease and a feeling that there was something more to these works that eluded my understanding.

Maybe further study and reflection would enable me to unlock the mysteries and discover the hidden gems within Shepard's plays.

I've read two of these plays.

Buried Child was an extremely strange and dark piece, almost to the point of being weird and dark just for the sake of it. However, despite its rather unconventional nature, I still found myself liking it.

On the other hand, True West was not only weird and dark but also truly AMAZING. It had a certain charm and depth that made it stand out.

Also, it's worth mentioning that you may remember Sam Shepard from such well-known films as Black Hawk Down or The Right Stuff. His work in both the theatrical and cinematic worlds has been highly regarded and has left a lasting impact.

Overall, these two plays by Sam Shepard offer unique and engaging experiences for those who are willing to explore the darker and weirder aspects of human nature and relationships.

I first came across this play during my undergraduate years. At that time, I had never even heard of Sam Shepard.

While "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern" holds a special place in my heart as my favorite play, "True West" had an undeniably significant impact on me when I embarked on my journey of writing plays.

It was as if "True West" opened up a new world of possibilities and inspiration. The complex characters, the intense family dynamics, and the raw emotions portrayed in the play left a lasting impression.

It made me realize the power of words and how they could be used to create vivid and engaging stories on stage.

Since then, I have been constantly striving to capture the essence and energy that "True West" possesses in my own writing.

It has served as a guiding light, challenging me to push the boundaries and explore new themes and ideas.

Even now, whenever I think about my passion for playwriting, "True West" always comes to mind as a major influence that has shaped my creative vision.

The introduction truly made a world of difference in my comprehension of the themes and characters within the text. It was like a guiding light that shone a path through the complex labyrinth of the story.

Thanks to the well-crafted introduction, I was able to quickly grasp the underlying concepts and get a better understanding of the motives and personalities of the various characters.

This collection of works is truly fantastic. Each piece seems to have been carefully curated and presents a unique perspective on different aspects of life, love, and human nature.

I am thoroughly enjoying delving into this collection and look forward to uncovering more hidden gems and gaining further insights into the wonderful world of literature.

I firmly believe that Sam Shepard is my all-time favorite playwright. His works such as True West, Buried Child, and Curse of the Starving Class are not only remarkable plays but also quite understandable in the traditional sense.

They are highly readable, and I can easily follow the storylines and know exactly what is happening.

However, there are other plays of his where I didn't quite understand a great deal of what was going on. Nevertheless, I sense that there is substance and depth within them that could potentially be truly fascinating.

If a director with great vision and intelligence were to take on these plays, they could bring out the hidden gems and make them come alive in a whole new way.

Savage/Love and Tongues, in particular, are somewhat like good 'bad' poetry. They have a certain charm and uniqueness that sets them apart from the more conventional works.

Overall, Sam Shepard's body of work is a testament to his creativity and talent as a playwright.

When writing a review of a collection, and particularly one where the cost of the review is equivalent to that of a single piece within the collection, I have a tendency to base my scoring on the very best elements. I then simply let the rest of the pieces exist for whoever may have an interest in them.

In this particular collection, "True West" and "Buried Child" stand out as the absolute best works. They possess a certain quality and depth that truly shines through. "Starving Class" is also good, but it doesn't quite reach the level of greatness that the other two do.

Now, "Tooth of Crime" is a different story. I really disliked this piece. However, the good news is that it is skip-worthy, and it can be easily passed over. Given that it can be so easily skipped, I don't think it should have a significant impact on my overall score for the collection. After all, the focus should be on the strengths and the truly outstanding works within the collection, rather than being overly influenced by a single piece that I didn't care for.

Most of the works date back to the 1960s and 1970s.

These works possess a sort of manic experimental essence. They are raw, spewing forth without much thought, aiming to reach some novel meaning.

I suppose my favorite piece is "Tongues". It concludes as follows:

Today the wind roared through the center of town.

Tonight I hear its voice.

Today the river lay wide open to the sun.

Tonight I hear it speaking.

Today the moon remained in the sky.

Tonight I feel it moving.

Today the people talked without speaking.

Tonight I can hear what they're saying.

Today the tree bloomed without a word.

Tonight I'm learning its language.

This piece creates a vivid and almost surreal atmosphere, making the reader feel as if they are experiencing these strange and wonderful phenomena along with the author. It invites us to look at the world around us in a new and different way, to listen to the voices that are often overlooked, and to discover the hidden meanings that lie within the simplest of things.

The review seems to be rather lukewarm, rating the work at around 2.5 out of 5.

One of the main criticisms is the excessive amount of dialogue. It appears that there is just too much talking going on, perhaps to the point where it becomes overwhelming or detracts from other aspects of the piece.

Another issue raised is that it feels too American. This could imply that the style, themes, or cultural references are too strongly tied to American culture, which might limit its appeal to a more diverse audience.

Overall, these drawbacks suggest that the work has some areas that need improvement. Maybe a reduction in the amount of dialogue and a more global or universal approach could enhance its quality and make it more engaging for a wider range of readers or viewers.
