Harold Pinter is an extremely challenging playwright. He constantly forces the audience to look more deeply into those questions that define our very humanity.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of this play.

However, after that point, I was certain I was being pranked. I will admit that some hints of the eventual 180-degree twist were visible in the first act, especially in the first scene between Lenny and Ruth while the rest of the family is asleep.

But that's all the ground I can give, I'm afraid.
