Surprisingly, I ended up liking Jeremy more than I initially anticipated. I must confess that earlier in the series, when he took off in an attempt to locate his grandparents, I was a little frustrated with him. However, getting to 'hear' his side of the story provided a different perspective than I had initially thought. I really liked that we got to see his thought process regarding his return to fellowship, not only with his father Wallace but also with God.

The 'whodunnit' aspect of the entire series had been strongly hinted at, if not explicitly stated. Nevertheless, I found myself eager to understand more of the WHY behind the blackmailing. Oh well, it wasn't significant enough to deduct a star from the rating or anything.

Although I did enjoy Gabi and Jeremy as a couple, the romance progressed at an alarmingly fast pace for my taste. Enough with the insta-love already! (lol) Overall, I would rate this book 3.5 stars.
