I happily rediscovered the characters of "Vipère au poing". The mother remains unchanged: a venomous bitch. The writing is still as strong, even if we leave the hateful register of the first installment.

It's truly remarkable how the author has managed to maintain the essence of these characters while evolving the story. The mother's toxicity is palpable, yet it adds a certain depth and complexity to the narrative.

The writing style, with its powerful and vivid descriptions, draws the reader in and makes them feel as if they are part of the story. It's as if we can see the characters' actions and emotions unfold right before our eyes.

Overall, "Vipère au poing" continues to be a captivating read, and I can't wait to see what else the author has in store for us.

This is a small wonder of humor that can be read even without ever having opened Vipère au poing.

Although it is better to know the terms of the relationship between the narrator and his mother to understand the hero's thirst for independence.

The writing is sensational, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in 20th-century French literature.

It elevates the common story of a boy who becomes a man thanks to the women he meets - and whom he always compares to the implacable maternal figure.

What a pleasure it is to read this, savoring it until the last word!

It's like embarking on a journey through the mind of the author, experiencing every emotion and thought as if it were our own.

The characters come alive on the page, their personalities and relationships vividly描绘.

The story unfolds in a way that keeps the reader engaged from start to finish, with unexpected twists and turns that add to the overall charm.

Whether you're a fan of French literature or simply looking for a good read, this book is sure to delight.

So sit back, relax, and let yourself be transported into the world of this wonderful story.
