King's writings about friendship are truly captivating. There is something magical in the way he portrays the bonds between people. It's as if he can see into the very essence of what makes a friendship special. When he writes about friendship, it's not just a simple description. He delves deep into the emotions, the joys, and the sorrows that come with it. His words have the power to make us feel as if we are right there, experiencing those friendships along with the characters. It's like a window into a world where friendship is cherished and celebrated. I find myself completely immersed in his stories, and I can't help but be inspired by the beautiful way he writes about this most precious of human connections. Me encanta cuando King escribe sobre la amistad
After finishing this second part, I can't help but think about how different the four stories have been. King has many ways of approaching terror, and I believe I have never seen it as clearly as in these two books.
The first one has brought me a soft memory of "The Losers" from It, and the second one has been brutal (in the most literal sense of the word) and unexpected. It has even left me a bit queasy in that creepy yet pleasurable way that one only feels when reading horror.
As a final note, I liked the detail of finding references to some stories in others, despite them being independent of each other. It adds an extra layer of depth and connection to the overall collection, making it even more engaging and interesting to explore. It shows King's masterful storytelling skills and his ability to create a world that is both terrifying and captivating at the same time.
