After seven books of King, his versatility still amazes me.

It's truly remarkable how he can effortlessly transition between different genres and writing styles, yet maintain a consistent level of quality and engaging storytelling.

But what surprises me even more is how real each of his words feels.

King has this unique ability to bring his characters and their worlds to life in such a vivid and detailed way that it's as if they exist outside the pages of the book.

His descriptions are so rich and evocative that I can almost smell the musty air of an old haunted house or feel the terror of being chased by a supernatural creature.

It's no wonder that he is considered one of the greatest authors of our time.

With each new book, he continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in literature and leaves his readers eagerly anticipating what he will come up with next.

The Body: Fall From Innocence:

A story where a group of kids with dysfunctional and fragile roots have a common goal, and they cling so tightly to it that, without realizing, they progress from a childish adventure with a curious characteristic to a more adult version where they truly face death.

I liked it.

The Breathing Method: A Winter's Tale:

A disturbing tale where a willpower beyond this world is demonstrated.

This expanded version simply elaborates a bit more on each of the descriptions, adding a bit more detail to paint a clearer picture in the reader's mind. The overall essence of the original text is maintained while fulfilling the requirement of being around 300 words.

Stephen King siempre mostrando sorpresas.

He is a master of the horror and thriller genres, constantly keeping his readers on the edge of their seats.

With each new book, he introduces unique and terrifying concepts that seem to come straight from the darkest corners of his imagination.

Whether it's a haunted house, a malevolent clown, or a post-apocalyptic world, King has the ability to make his stories feel real and terrifying.

His characters are complex and well-developed, making it easy for readers to become invested in their fates.

And his writing style is engaging and immersive, drawing readers in and not letting go until the very end.

Stephen King truly is a master of his craft, always showing us something new and unexpected.

A beautiful story! I loved it. Soon to be reviewed.

Added to my favorites of King.

I only read Stephen King for one week: https://youtu.be/2LS5XCVynKo?si=eSei5...

And this story was part of that week. It was truly a remarkable experience delving into the works of Stephen King. His writing has a unique charm that captivates the reader from the very beginning. The story I read was filled with interesting characters and a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself completely immersed in the world he created. I can't wait to explore more of his works and see what other wonderful stories he has to offer. I highly recommend Stephen King to all book lovers out there.

I have really liked the two stories. Perhaps I have enjoyed the first one, "The Body", a coming-of-age story about a twelve-year-old boy's panda, even more. I have felt reflected in it. It has taken me back to those sweltering summers, when as a youngster you got bored on the street until you said enough and where the sense of friendship was unique and powerful.

The second story, "The Breathing Method", corresponds a bit more to what a King reading might be, mystery, blood, strange forces...

It's a very good read. These two stories, along with the other two read previously, make an outstanding set.

Here are the two stories that would conclude the four seasons. On one hand, there is "The Body". It tells the story of a group of friends who embark on a journey to find the corpse of a boy their age. The story is narrated by Gordie, who will tell us how these events will mark his future as a writer and how they will affect his friends.

The other story is "Method of Respiration". This story is inspired by Peter Straub's "Ghosts" and we will find a story within a story. It is the only story with supernatural and macabre undertones. I liked the story that is told more. I would still recommend it as its ending really impacted me.

I give it three stars because unfortunately, when comparing it with the other two stories, I feel it captivated me less. In "The Body", I found it extremely tedious at the beginning, but then I got into it.

I was very excited to read these two stories, especially "El cuerpo".

It turns out that one of my all-time favorite movies is "Stand by Me", and of course, it is based on this first story.

Well, it has disappointed me a bit. It's not that I didn't like it, but when I finished reading it, I realized that I liked the movie much more

Snudd på en femma. This is an interesting expression that might catch one's attention. Stand by me is undoubtedly one of his best works. It has a certain charm and appeal that makes people eager to explore it further. The story and the emotions it conveys are likely to touch the hearts of the viewers.

One can't help but wonder what makes this particular piece so special. Maybe it's the unique characters, the engaging plot, or the powerful themes it delves into.

And the idea of checking out the film soon is a great one. It gives us the opportunity to experience the magic of Stand by me firsthand and form our own opinions.

Who knows, it might just become one of our all-time favorite movies. So, let's not waste any time and go ahead and watch it as soon as possible.

In the editions published in Mexico, "Different Seasons" (the English title) is divided into Spring and Summer, Autumn and Winter. Three years ago, I read the first two seasons... I LOVED them, they were hard and raw. I think it was when I discovered that I really enjoyed the words of the master Stephen King. So, I took a few months to digest those stories (I find them very mature, and this cannot be compared to other works of the master of terror). Three years passed until I finally found the missing seasons. I had asked in all the bookstores in Puebla - at least the ones I thought would have it, a difficult title to find and with good reason because they stopped publishing it - and well, I finally found it, I didn't hesitate, I bought it... and I read it... but simply these two stories were not what I expected.. or was I not in the "mood" to read something by Stephen King? It is likely that I will reread it or perhaps not, because there are many titles waiting for me to get my hands on them... The thing is that... I already know, I understand.... These stories come in the same book but... simply no. Although I really enjoyed Winter but my favorites are still Spring and Summer... ironic because in reality I love Autumn and Winter.

STEPHEN KING WILL BE THE AUTHOR I HAVE READ THE MOST THIS YEAR... AGAIN.

In fact, it is too long to read considering how short it is (I'm only evaluating "The Body").

It's a beautiful story of preadolescent friendship that makes us look back on those summers with friends, when there seemed to be nothing to do and yet we filled them with such intense activity that now it makes us feel a pang of pure nostalgia.

However, it is also a narration in which King often falls into pointless chatter, and it includes stories like that of "Chico", completely destined to fill pages. There are also too many clichés, such as the juvenile delinquents who go around beating up kids (who never ever say a word to the police), or the inevitable destiny for anyone incapable in studies: ending up as a drunk, a dropout, a slacker, a dangerous criminal or all at once.

I must also say, upon reviewing other reviews, that I find it curious how many readers describe the story of the body as "childhood itself"... What difficult childhoods the readers of Goodreads must have had! Between the constant threat of being beaten and mutilated by your older siblings, being mistreated or abandoned by your parents, losing your family members in traumatic accidents... There can be very little typical in the childhoods of King's characters, to be honest.

In conclusion, one of those cases in which the movie is much better than the book.

Today I bring you my favorite author, King. This is the second part of a series of stories called "4 Seasons". In this book, 2 stories are presented that, for the author, are part of these seasons.

The first one is the one that gives life to a movie. I haven't seen it, trust me. It's the story of 4 boys who, after finishing their summer vacations, go in search of the corpse of a missing boy. The story is in the first person because the one who tells it is an author remembering that time when friendship was more important than anything. You face anything for your friends.

In the second story, "The Breathing Method", it is a story within another story. Here, the main character tells us about a gentlemen's club where there are books that don't exist anywhere else. This is something that unites King's worlds. Every week, stories are told there, and by tradition, there is a scary story for Christmas. The author tells us this story and introduces us to the doubts that this world generates. This Christmas story is undoubtedly the central axis of the story.

I love King, so obviously I'm going to recommend it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I didn't want the book to end.
