A friend of mine at work discovered that I had a penchant for McCammon. As a result, he very kindly gave me his copy of Stinger. Now, while it may not reach the same heights as Swans' Song, I have to say that I thoroughly relished reading it.
First and foremost, I would highly recommend reading Swan and Wolf's Hour. However, if you have a penchant for sci-fi horror, don't make the mistake of passing this one by. Stinger offers its own unique blend of thrills and chills that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.
McCammon has a remarkable talent for creating vivid and engaging worlds, filled with complex characters and heart-pounding action. In Stinger, he once again demonstrates his mastery of the genre, delivering a story that is both exciting and thought-provoking.
So, if you're a fan of sci-fi horror, or simply looking for a great read, I would encourage you to pick up a copy of Stinger and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
