Comme tous les Dan Simmons, j’ai adoré!

I have really loved it, just like all of Dan Simmons' works.

J’ai beaucoup aimé changer de format et passer à celui de nouvelles et vraiment, pour le coup, j’ai savouré ma lecture. Je savoure toujours avec lui, mais là c’était différent!

I really liked changing the format and switching to that of short stories. And truly, this time, I savored my reading. I always savor reading his works, but this time it was different!

J’ai trois préférées : « Vanni Fucci va très bien et il vit en Enfer », « Le Conseiller » et « Photo de classe ». Ces trois là m’ont vraiment touchées parce que ça se passe dans un milieu qui me parle et parce que je suis aussi de cet avis.

I have three favorites: "Vanni Fucci Is Doing Very Well and He Lives in Hell", "The Advisor", and "Class Photo". These three really touched me because they take place in a setting that speaks to me and because I also share the same opinion.

La plume de Dan Simmons est juste exceptionnelle et je ne m’en passe plus (même si ça fait pas mal de livres que je lis de lui), il arrive toujours à me surprendre.

Dan Simmons' writing is just exceptional and I can't do without it anymore (even though I have read quite a few books of his), he always manages to surprise me.

I have given up on the last two news.

Certainly, some of them were good, while others were not so good. However, this is really not a reading format that suits me.

I prefer to read in a more in-depth and detailed way, rather than just skimming through the headlines and brief summaries. Maybe I will try to find other sources of information that can provide me with more comprehensive and accurate knowledge.

Moreover, I think that reading should be a pleasure, not a chore. If I don't enjoy the reading process, then it's hard for me to gain anything from it. Therefore, I will continue to explore different reading materials and methods until I find the ones that are right for me.

Well, for my life and for the lives of people I don't care about, such darkness will not be found! But the interesting alternative world of the apocalypse (or is it already the post-apocalypse) that the author portrays for us here (at least this protagonist's setup is absolutely to my taste).

The concept of an apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic world is always fascinating. It makes us wonder what would happen if everything we know and rely on suddenly disappeared. The author seems to have created a vivid and engaging world that draws the reader in.

Either way, I'm intrigued by this portrayal and look forward to seeing where the story takes us.
