I'm guessing I had a good cry coming because that's exactly what happened in reading the last quarter of this book.

Honestly, in the beginning, I thought this was just an ordinary novel with some scripture inserted here and there. I wasn't overly impressed. However, what I didn't anticipate was the reminiscing and soul-searching that this book triggered.

I truly didn't have much in common with the main character's story (marriage), but I could identify with many of the other aspects of the narrative.

I think my emotions were more related to what was happening in my own life rather than what was going on in the story. But I did come to the realization that I need to rely on and involve God more in my decisions, my healing, my plans, and generally in my life.

And for that reason, I can't wait to get my hands on the second installment of this series.

It might not be everyone's favorite, but just like a scriptural reference, it was there when I needed it (and was ready to listen).

Love is an emotion that is both powerful and profound. It has the ability to bring people together, to heal wounds, and to create memories that last a lifetime. Love can take many forms, from the love between a mother and child, to the love between two romantic partners, to the love we have for our friends and family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love is not always easy. It requires patience, understanding, and sacrifice. But when we experience true love, it is worth all of the effort. Love makes us feel alive, it gives us hope, and it makes us believe that anything is possible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We should all strive to love more deeply and more fully. We should cherish the love that we have in our lives and never take it for granted. Because in the end, love is the most important thing in the world.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love, love, love, love, LOVE!!!!

The thing with this book is the saying that women need to feel needed while men need to feel loved, which is quite appropriate.

I must admit that I'm not a fan of most cheating novels. In fact, I usually don't think they can be redeemed. However, this book took me by surprise. I never thought I'd say this, but wow. By the end of the story, the main character was actually redeemed.

It was an emotional read, filled with deep feelings and complex relationships. Moreover, it was heavily influenced by Christian values and themes. So, if you're not into those kinds of stories, this book probably isn't for you. But if you're open to exploring the power of love and redemption, and if you don't mind a bit of religious undertone, then you might find this book quite interesting and thought-provoking.

I throughly enjoyed this book.

It is the first in the Redemption series and is based on the family of John and Elizabeth Baxter and their five children.

The story is told from multiple perspectives, which allows the reader to get to know each character on a deeper level.

The author, a Christian, weaves faith and family values throughout the narrative in a seamless way.

The characters face many challenges and difficulties, but they always turn to God for strength and guidance.

The relationships between the family members are complex and realistic, and the reader can't help but become invested in their lives.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good family drama with a strong faith element.

It is a heartwarming and inspiring read that will leave you feeling uplifted.

I absolutely love all of her books. Her works have a unique charm that keeps me hooked from the very first page. What I appreciate the most is that she doesn't shy away from dealing with real issues. She bravely delves into the complex and often difficult aspects of life, presenting them in a way that is both relatable and thought-provoking.

Her stories are not only entertaining but also very heartfelt and sincere. You can feel the passion and authenticity that she pours into every word. It's as if she is sharing her own experiences and emotions with the readers, making us feel a deep connection to the characters and the plot.

Whether it's a story about love, loss, friendship, or personal growth, her books always manage to touch my heart and leave a lasting impression. I highly recommend her works to anyone who is looking for a good read that will make them laugh, cry, and think.

I'm truly astonished by the extent to which I relished this. I'm highly skeptical of Christian fiction books that either present characters in an overly idealized light or utilize conversion as a plot mechanism or a significant moral turning point for wayward characters. Thankfully, this one had neither.

The story revolves around Kari, a young wife; her husband Tim; Kari's family, the Baxters; and Kari's former (and still current) love, Ryan. Tim, a journalism professor, embarks on a passionate affair with a student, which leads him to abandon his wife. As the title suggests, it's a tale of redemption, exploring how (and why) Kari and Tim reconcile, and how they address the sin issues in their lives that contributed to the estrangement in their marriage before the affair.

The characters' inner monologues were remarkably accurate. My main gripe was that the main characters (apart from Tim) were extremely beautiful, intelligent, financially prosperous, and virtuous. Admittedly, we all know families like this, the kind that attends church together as a unit and resides in a large, comfortable home where the youth group gathers and appears to have no problems on the surface. So, it's not implausible to me that a family like the Baxters exists. However, Kari and Ryan's rekindled romance after Tim's affair with the student was incredibly chaste. If their feelings for each other were as intense as they described, I find it hard to believe there wasn't a real temptation to do more than just kiss. Ryan, in particular, seemed unusually self-restrained for a man in his situation.

I'll definitely be reading Book #2 in the series!

This entire series is nothing but blatant Christian propaganda and a form of purity culture brainwashing.

If you happen to be a Christian reader, it's likely that you'll find some entertainment value in the extensive coverage of the family's expansion over the years, along with the accompanying drama. However, one cannot overlook the fact that the underlying message is extremely toxic and harmful.

Particularly, the excessive focus on purity, as seen in Bailey's story later on, is simply crazy. It promotes a narrow and judgmental view of sexuality and relationships, which can have a negative impact on individuals, especially young people.

We need to be critical of such media that attempts to indoctrinate us with harmful ideas under the guise of entertainment. It's important to think for ourselves and question the messages that are being presented to us.

This was a good book.

However, it was a little too much like a soap opera for my taste.

The story seemed to have a lot of unnecessary drama and twists that felt a bit overdone.

Despite this, I did continue reading because I was really curious to find out what would happen next.

The author had managed to create enough悬念 to keep me engaged.

I will definitely continue this series as I want to see how the story develops and if my initial impressions change.

I'm hoping that the upcoming books will have a bit more depth and substance, and less of the soap opera-like elements.

Overall, while this book had its flaws, it was still an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Just wow!

This book was truly very moving. It had a remarkable ability to connect with real-life problems and struggles.

I was deeply impressed by how Karen Kingsbury developed each character. She made it abundantly clear that Christians are not perfect. They face trials and difficulties just like everyone else.

However, through God's grace, we have the strength and the opportunity to continue to grow. We are constantly being shaped more and more into His image.

This book serves as a powerful reminder that no matter what challenges we encounter in life, we can find hope and transformation in God's love and grace. It encourages us to embrace our imperfections and trust in the process of growth and renewal that God has in store for us.

Overall, it is a must-read for anyone who is seeking inspiration and a deeper understanding of the Christian faith in the context of real life.
