I simply love reading about the Baxter family! It's always a real page turner that keeps me hooked from start to finish. One of the most interesting aspects was seeing Luke go through a phase of doubting his faith. It felt so incredibly real, as if I could understand exactly what he was going through. And I'm truly glad that we got to witness some of that journey. Luke, for most of his life, had never faced such trials. So, seeing how God can use those hard times to draw us closer to Him, even when we initially doubt or turn away, was a great reminder for me. Thankfully, Luke came out of his time of doubt and denial with a much more solid and unwavering faith. However, I do have to admit that occasionally, I feel that the relationships the Baxter's have with each other can be a little too perfect, especially towards the end. It can sometimes be a bit difficult to fully relate to. But despite that small drawback, I still very much enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to others.
