A great continuation of the Baxter series. I’d say I liked it more than Remember but not as much as Redemption.

I read this book in one day. It was truly an immersive experience. I really love this series! The Baxter family is just wonderful. They are so relatable and their stories tug at my heartstrings. Each character has their own unique personality and flaws, which makes them all the more endearing. The relationships within the family are complex and yet so beautifully portrayed. I find myself constantly rooting for them and hoping that everything works out for the best. I can't wait to read the next book in the series and see what adventures the Baxter family will have next.

Return continued the story from Redemption and Remember.

However, it must be said that the story in Return was not as powerful as that in the first two books.

Nonetheless, it did manage to hold my interest.

Moreover, it was beneficial in resolving some of the questions that had arisen from Remember.

For those who have been following the Baxter family saga, I still recommend this book.

It may not have the same impact as its predecessors, but it does offer some closure and further development of the characters and their relationships.

Even though it might not be the strongest installment, it is still a worthwhile read for fans of the series.

It helps to complete the story arc and provides a sense of continuity.

So, if you are invested in the Baxter family, don't hesitate to give Return a chance.

This one made my heart ache for good and bad!

I vividly remember watching the news in my elementary classroom on this very day. The way this event had such a profound impact on other faiths and the remarkable struggles of faith that the characters managed to overcome truly made my heart soar.

Luke is so similar to many young adult Christians who have been raised within the church. They have the security of knowing their faith, yet it has never really been put to the test. This story is just absolutely a wonderful read. It delves deep into the human experience of faith, exploring both the challenges and the triumphs. It makes you think about your own beliefs and how you would respond in similar situations. It's a story that stays with you long after you've finished reading it, leaving you with a sense of inspiration and a deeper understanding of the power of faith.

Luke Baxter turns away from his family, his faith, and Reagan, his only love.

Reagan is on the verge of having a baby, Luke's baby. However, he remains completely unaware of this fact.

My Thoughts

I can't recall ever shedding so many tears over a book. There were numerous instances where I had to pause and wipe my eyes. Reconciliation lies within the heart of man, and it's also in my heart. Life presents us with various challenges, and it has thrown a great many at the Baxter family. They are no different from anyone else. People often make poor choices, and those decisions come with consequences. We have all experienced such situations.

I eagerly anticipate the final book in the Redemption series, Rejoice.

It will be interesting to see how the story concludes and how the characters find their way to a place of peace and happiness.

Perhaps in the end, love and forgiveness will prevail, bringing the Baxter family back together and healing the wounds that have been inflicted.

Only time will tell, but I have high hopes for this final installment.

The Baxter Family Saga continues with its third book. At this stage, there are three primary protagonists: Kari, Ashley, and Luke. Luke's tale takes center stage in this installment. He has truly veered off into rebellion against his parents, God, and everything he once held dear. Meanwhile, in New York, his former girlfriend is pregnant with his child. Will he ever discover the existence of this child? Will he ever turn back to God? And will he ever reconcile with his family?

Simultaneously, we catch glimpses of Kari and Ryan's life as they prepare for their wedding day. This is a wonderful payoff after the indecision and hesitancy that plagued their relationship throughout the first two books.

The other main character we encounter in this book is Ashley. Her relationship with Landon continues to progress but hits a couple of major speed bumps. After all, they are in different cities and at different points in their lives. Will they ever truly get together?

I liked this book, yet I found it a bit overly dramatic. Ashley and Landon's story占据了书中相当大的篇幅, and I find it emotionally draining. Every time I think they're finally going to be happy, some other obstacle arises preventing them from being together. I'm hoping for some resolution in the next book as we didn't get it here, and the overly melodramatic nature of their relationship is a major reason I had trouble enjoying this book as much as the first two in the series.

I did find Luke's story interesting, and I'm glad it reached some sort of resolution. However, I felt like his issues with faith and God were resolved a little too quickly and easily. As someone with a naturally skeptical disposition, I didn't find it believable, and I had doubts that Luke really had the faith doubts he exhibited in the book due to the speed and tidiness of the resolution. I also didn't find the comparison with Peter believable for someone having faith doubts. Nevertheless, I'll concede that perhaps this is the author's way of showing us that maybe instead of doubts, Peter just had some rebellious and unhappy feelings towards God. I always felt like Peter's denials were more of the "I need to save myself" type rather than actual doubt in Jesus as his Messiah. That's just my interpretation, though.

This book also introduces Brooke as the next major character in this series, and I'm hoping her story will be great. I'm also looking forward to finally seeing some resolution for Ashley and Landon and an end to their exhausting drama in the next book.

A Heartwarming Christian Love Story

In a small town, there lived a kind-hearted young woman named Emily. She was deeply committed to her Christian faith and lived her life according to its teachings. One day, while volunteering at a local homeless shelter, she met a man named David. He had a rough exterior, but as Emily got to know him, she saw a gentle soul within.

David had faced many hardships in his life, but Emily's kindness and love began to touch his heart. She would often share her faith with him, and he found himself drawn to the peace and hope it offered. As time passed, their relationship grew stronger, and they both knew that it was a special connection.

With the support of their church community, Emily and David continued to grow in their love and faith. They faced challenges together, but they always turned to God for guidance and strength. Their love story was a beautiful example of how God's love can bring two people together and transform their lives.

Today, Emily and David are happily married and continue to share their love and faith with those around them. Their story has inspired many in their town and serves as a reminder that love and faith can overcome anything.

I didn't truly have an interest in the Luke storyline that was in the spotlight. It simply didn't captivate me. Additionally, I was somewhat irritated to witness yet another spiritual issue being brought up with someone else in the family.

The melodrama present in this series is really challenging for me. There are five kids, all of whom either have a severe marital crisis where divorce or separation is being considered, or got pregnant out of wedlock (or got their girlfriend pregnant), or are unbelievers as adults, or some combination of the above. It has long exceeded the point where it is believable that this many things could go awry despite Christian parents raising their children properly. I comprehend the intention to focus on different relational types of issues in this series with Gary Smalley. However, I believe it would have been more advisable not to concentrate all of these issues in just one family.

Perhaps spreading them out among multiple families would have made the story more relatable and less overwhelming. It would also have allowed for a more in-depth exploration of each individual's situation rather than cramming so many problems into one family unit.

Overall, while the series may have had good intentions in addressing various relationship and spiritual issues, the way it was presented with such a high concentration of problems in one family detracted from its overall impact for me.

I gave this book in the series a lower rating because it was rather troubling to me.

A significant portion of the book was simply not in line with reality. Some of the情节 seemed more like a fairy tale than a believable narrative.

I can't help but wonder if the authors conducted any research into the world of Fine Arts.

The overall story is a good one, as it follows the起伏 of one family. However, I was let down by the unrealistic part.

It made it difficult for me to fully engage with the story and believe in the characters and their experiences.

Perhaps if the authors had been more careful in their portrayal of the Fine Arts world and made the story more believable, I would have given it a higher rating.

As it stands, the unrealistic elements detracted from what could have been a great read.

I truly enjoyed reading "Return". It was a captivating story, although at times it could be a bit frustrating. For instance, when Ashley jumped to conclusions without taking the time to fully understand the situation, I had the urge to throw the book in annoyance. And then there was Luke's "new" way of thinking which seemed rather senseless, yet I persisted in reading. Interestingly, Luke's story had a certain resonance with me. I wasn't as extreme as he was, but I did have my moments of running away. I'm extremely glad that I eventually returned to God. Some might argue that his turnaround was rather rapid, but when God reaches out and grabs hold of you, it truly feels like a light suddenly switches on. I have thoroughly relished reading about the Baxter family and I'm eagerly anticipating finding out what will happen next in their lives.

Another page-turner in the Baxter series! Karen Kingsbury truly doesn't disappoint in the 3rd book of this captivating series.

Immediately after finishing this one, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.

This book delves deeper into the stories of Luke & Reagan, as well as Ashley and Landon's beautiful love story.

I greatly admire how Karen Kingsbury skillfully portrays the challenging aspects of faith in a dark world. For instance, Luke struggles with the question of whether God is even real, and Reagan faces the difficulties of an unplanned pregnancy.

She addresses these complex topics in a highly relatable way, making it easy for readers to connect with the characters and their experiences. At the same time, she points back to God's truth in a way that is not overly preachy, but rather gentle and inspiring.

If you are in search of a Christian Fiction novel that is not only filled with romance but also has great depth, then this is definitely the series for you.

I'm not sure if it's due to the fact that I'm reading these books in quick succession, but there are certain parts of the story line that seem to repeat themselves.

However, overall, I am truly and seriously extremely impressed with this series. The characters are well-developed, the plot is engaging, and the world-building is simply amazing.

Despite the minor issue of some repetitive story lines, it doesn't overshadow the many strengths of this series. I find myself constantly eager to turn the page and see what happens next.

I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series and continue this exciting journey. I'm sure it will be just as captivating as the previous ones.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good adventure and a well-written story. It's definitely one that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
