Luke's rejection of his beliefs in God was an interesting aspect of the story. However, the thought processes that were expressed seemed at times a little stereotyped or not completely authentic. It was as if KK couldn't quite get into his head and relied too much on talking points. This made it hard to fully understand and appreciate the impact his foolishness had on the whole family.

On the positive side, I do like that their family is very realistic. They struggle and go through bad stuff and relationship issues just like anybody else. They aren't overly sweet or cloying, which can be refreshing. Although I think they trend more towards that sweetness in further series.

Overall, while there were some areas that could have been improved in terms of character development and authenticity, the realistic portrayal of the family and their struggles made the story engaging and relatable.

The third installment of Karen Kingsbury's "Redemption" series was an outstanding continuation.

In the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11, Luke Baxter has distanced himself from all that was once dear to him. His faith, his family, and Reagan, his first love, have all been cast aside. Luke is currently in a difficult phase of his life, and despite his family's pleas for him to return, he rejects them all.

Reagan Decker is also deeply affected by the events of September 11. After losing her father, she relocates to New York, where she discovers she is pregnant with Luke's child.

This book was truly enjoyable due to the abundance of love and the various trials depicted within its pages. It didn't have a completely happy ending, as Karen Kingsbury presents a realistic portrayal in her writing. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who is interested or desires to witness the reality of different situations and worldviews.

It offers a profound and thought-provoking exploration of love, loss, and redemption.

Readers will be captivated by the complex characters and their emotional journeys.

Overall, it is a must-read for fans of Karen Kingsbury and those who appreciate a well-written and engaging story.

I absolutely adored this book!

Each and every book within this series seems to improve and become even more captivating with each installment.

Return has been my favorite thus far, but I highly doubt that it will remain so.

This is because I have a strong suspicion that the next book will likely steal the spotlight and become my new favorite.

And then, perhaps, the one after that will take its place, and so on and so forth.

The anticipation for each new release in this series is simply palpable, and I can't wait to see what adventures and stories lie ahead.

It's truly a remarkable series that keeps pulling me in and making me eager for more.

I'm confident that future books will continue to amaze and delight me, just as Return has done.

This wasn’t my favourite book in the series so far.

However, I did enjoy certain parts of it.

My main issue lies in the way both Luke and John interact with each other.

They constantly push each other away due to their different beliefs.

Yes, Luke was rather harsh, but John should have at least made an effort to sympathize and understand why Luke might be angry at God.

I absolutely loved the moments between Landon and Ashley.

They are such a cute couple, and I’m extremely glad that they managed to come together by the end of the book.

It was supposed to be a book mainly focused on Luke, but that wasn’t the case.

I’m not overly angry about it because it meant I got to read more about Landon and Ashley.

But poor Luke!

The one book that was actually supposed to be about him, and he gets sidelined by his sister!

Overall, while it had its flaws, there were still some enjoyable aspects to the book.

I am absolutely in love with this series!

The writing is truly amazing. The author has a remarkable ability to go into great detail when it is necessary, painting a vivid picture in the reader's mind. And then, when it's time for an appropriate teaser, the author gives just a taste of detail, leaving the reader eager for more. I also really appreciated how the author compared certain events and situations in the story to stories and scenes from the Bible. The inclusion of Scriptures added an extra layer of depth and meaning to the narrative.

Secondly, due to the excellent writing, I found myself getting extremely emotional while reading. There were times when I even had tears in my eyes. When the story took us through the different emotions of 9/11, seen from the various perspectives of the characters, it was impossible for me to hold back my tears. Even the description of the aftermath, with the volunteers digging through the rubble, was so powerful and moving that it tugged at my heartstrings.

I cannot wait to continue this series and see what other wonderful stories and emotions it has in store for me.

This was indeed a remarkable comeback book for this series.

I have a profound affection for the first book in this series. It was truly captivating and managed to draw me in completely. However, the second book had a bit of a setback, which made me seriously consider whether to continue reading the series.

Thankfully, this latest installment has completely reversed my perception. It has rekindled my enthusiasm and made me eagerly anticipate the next book.

I am extremely excited to see how the characters will develop and where their storylines will lead. The author has done an excellent job of building suspense and keeping the readers engaged.

I can't wait to see what adventures and challenges await the characters in the upcoming books.

Return occurs on September 11th, and it explores how some of the Baxter children perceive God following this tragic event. The story is filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader engaged from start to finish. The author does an excellent job of delving into the complex emotions and beliefs of the characters, making it a thought-provoking read.

The ending of the book is particularly captivating, leaving the reader with a sense of anticipation and a desire to know what will happen next. It is this cliffhanger that makes me迫不及待 to begin the next book in the series. I am eager to see how the characters' journeys continue and how they will cope with the challenges that lie ahead.

Overall, this book is a must-read for anyone who enjoys stories that deal with faith, family, and the human spirit. It is a powerful and moving tale that will stay with you long after you have finished reading.

God desires that His people come back to Him.

This book vividly demonstrated that even those who identify as Christians can fall prey to the deception of the enemy. However, a genuine Christian, regardless of the circumstances, will always find their way back to Christ.

I have a stronger affinity for this book compared to the first two. It must be because I can relate to Luke, who, in some way, was once a rebellious Christian. Lol. It's interesting how we can see ourselves in the characters of a story and gain valuable insights from their experiences. This book not only serves as a reminder of the importance of remaining faithful to God but also shows that even when we stray, there is always a way back.

It makes me reflect on my own spiritual journey and encourages me to stay close to Christ, no matter what challenges or temptations I may face. Overall, this book has had a profound impact on me and has deepened my understanding of the Christian faith.

It really frustrates me to see characters in a story constantly keeping secrets. And as a result, misunderstandings always seem to arise from that. This particular book had an abundance of such situations. It was quite exasperating to witness how the story unfolded with all these secrets and misunderstandings. However, to my relief, things eventually managed to work out in the end. But getting to that point was truly a frustrating experience!

By the time I reached book 3, I felt like I had really gotten to know these characters on a deeper level. I had developed a genuine connection with them and truly wanted the best for each and every one of them. I found myself invested in their lives and hoping that they would overcome all the obstacles and challenges that came their way.

Now, I am eagerly looking forward to reading books 4 and 5. I can't wait to see how the story continues to develop and what new adventures and challenges the characters will face. I have high expectations for these upcoming books and I'm sure they will not disappoint!

I truly adored this entire set of books. It was as if I had become intimately acquainted with the Baxter family, lol. I even went so far as to reread them to my husband, simply so that we could engage in discussions about the stories.

What made it even more enjoyable was the presence of questions at the end of each book. These questions served as a great catalyst for our conversations, allowing us to explore different aspects of the characters and their relationships.

We have had our own experience with a wayward son, and this book provided such a profound and accurate portrayal of how parents might feel in such a situation. It was both comforting and enlightening to see our own emotions and experiences reflected in the pages of these books.

I would highly recommend this set of books to anyone who enjoys a good family drama or is looking for a deeper understanding of the complex emotions that come with parenting.
