A good story indeed. However, the version I listened to on Audible was the abridged one. This was a bit disappointing as I was looking forward to experiencing the full narrative in all its glory. The abridged version might have cut out some of the finer details and nuances that could have added more depth to the story. Nevertheless, it still managed to convey the main plot and keep my interest piqued. I wonder if I would have had a completely different experience if I had listened to the unabridged version. It makes me curious to seek out the full-length version and compare the two. Despite the abridgment, the story itself was engaging enough to make me want to explore more of the author's work.
