Novel introduction towards something that promises to be so big and epic that I'm afraid to continue for fear it won't meet the expectations.

It is written in the beginnings of King and it shows in the rhythm and structure of the work. From the first sentence, it throws you into the universe of the Dark Tower without knowing the motivations of the characters or even where they are. Little by little, you start to understand what is happening and when your brain is more or less situating itself, it ends.

While writing this, I was going to give it 3 stars but I've realized that despite what I said before, I couldn't stop reading because of the hypnotic nature of the story, and not everyone can achieve that.

So if you take it as a prologue to a bigger story, you will like it. If what you expect is a typical story with an ending, you will be disappointed.

Don't waste your precious time on this novel

unless you happen to be a preteen male. For others, there is very little to find enjoyment in.

This book fails to offer a captivating storyline or engaging characters that would appeal to a wider audience.

The writing style may be too simplistic or juvenile for those beyond the preteen age group.

The plot seems to lack depth and complexity, making it difficult to become fully invested in the story.

Overall, it receives a rating of 4 out of 10 stars, indicating that it has significant room for improvement.

Perhaps the author could have explored more mature themes or developed the characters in a more nuanced way to make the novel more appealing to a broader range of readers.

As it stands, it is primarily targeted at a specific demographic and may not hold much interest for others.
