I have an unwavering love for this series. Having delved into it numerous times on my own, I am filled with excitement to undertake it as a read aloud in my classroom for the second time within my teaching career.

The students, without exception, are captivated by it. Daily, they plead for a few additional pages or, if time permits, an entire extra chapter.

I cherish the seamless integration of Scripture and the practical life lessons that my students are gleaning through Elijah. In particular, they are learning valuable lessons about asking for forgiveness and having the courage to own up to their mistakes.

I am eagerly looking forward to continuing this journey with them as we explore even more about the Armor of God.

It is truly a rewarding experience to share this series with my students and witness their growth and understanding.

I chanced upon this book on a clearance rack. As I delved into the first chapter, I thought I had an inkling as to why it might be there. The story begins rather slowly, but then it starts to pick up a little momentum in the second chapter. By the time I reached the third chapter, it had become so engaging that I simply couldn't put it down.

Elijah Creek resides at a campground which is managed by his dad, along with his mom and twin little sisters. He attends school with his cousin Robbie, his long-time friend Reece, and a Japanese transplant named Mei. Later on, Skid joins their group after they make an interesting and mysterious discovery.

What I really like about this book is the fact that the main character is not a Christian and has to learn about the Bible as they progress. They all have to learn about the strange items they unearthed buried beneath Old Pilgrim Church and a place they named “Devil’s Cranium.” This adds an extra layer of depth and intrigue to the story, making it not only an exciting read but also a thought-provoking one.

I am very eager to tell you about this interesting group.

It is sort of a more mature, Christianized Scooby Doo gang. They have unique adventures and experiences.

However, there is a warning. At the end, there is one violent scene that probably isn't suitable for young or sensitive children.

If they are old enough to read the book on their own, it might not be too bad. But parents should still be cautious.

This group offers an interesting take on the classic mystery-solving gang concept, with a Christian twist that adds depth and meaning to their stories.

It's a great read for those who enjoy mystery and adventure, as long as they can handle the one potentially intense scene at the end.

Overall, it's a unique and engaging book that is sure to capture the attention of readers of all ages.

Not as hokey a Christian book as I initially thought it would be. In fact, it has an interesting mix of characters. There's the one black kid, the one disabled kid, and the one Asian kid, in addition to the white kids. This is the first book in the series and it truly is quite exciting. Elijah and his friends are on a quest to find a costume for their school play. As they search, they stumble across an old suit of armour. Little do they know, there's someone out there who doesn't want them to have this armour. This mysterious person is willing to go to extreme lengths, even if it means killing them, to keep them away from the armour. The story unfolds with a sense of adventure and danger, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.

I started this series out in CO in October.

However, during the month of Nov, I got off the reading wagon.

This is a children's series that is very well written.

It has the ability to keep the interest not only of children but also of an adult like me.

I have finished the first two books in the series.

The stories are engaging and filled with interesting characters and adventures.

Each book builds on the previous one, creating a captivating narrative.

I am looking forward to continuing with the rest of the series and seeing where the story takes me.

Overall, I highly recommend this children's series to anyone looking for an enjoyable and entertaining read.

My dad was the first one in our family to read this series, and he absolutely loved it. He is almost 50 years old, and yet this series managed to capture his heart.

I also really adored this series. Before my sisters went to bed, I would read a chapter or two to them. There are 4 girls in our family, with ages ranging from 5 to 12. They loved the series so incredibly much that they have been asking me to read it to them again.

This series is truly gripping. It has a strong Christian foundation that gives it depth and meaning. We were very fortunate to meet the author at the International Conference on Missions (ICOM) last year. She was an extremely nice person, and it was a pleasure to talk to her.

Overall, this series has become a beloved part of our family's life, and we highly recommend it to others.

This is a truly remarkable first book within an outstanding series.

Five teenagers stumble upon an ancient suit of armor within an abandoned church. Little do they know that this is no ordinary find.

As they begin to explore and investigate, they make a startling discovery - the armor is, in fact, the real Armor of God.

From this moment on, their adventure takes an entirely new turn. They are thrust into a world of mystery, danger, and excitement as they attempt to understand the significance and power of this remarkable find.

With each passing page, the reader is drawn deeper into the story, eager to see what will happen next and how the teens will navigate the challenges that lie ahead.

This book is a must-read for anyone who loves adventure, mystery, and a touch of the supernatural.
